Kael'thas With Felo'melorn, Sun king Version (AoW)


This is the final version of Kael'thas that we are going to use for our project. That's how I imagined Kael'thas was when he was fighting Arthas in Northrend.

Very good concept and the execution is good. However, I'm seeing a problem with the death sound as while it's defined properly in RMS Twilacs - it's still not playing properly when he dies. It's still not that much of a problem though, so it's still...
Great looking model, real step up from the previous version. Animations look to be working and haven't had any issues with the installation so all appears to be in order. I've been looking forward to using a more thematic and armored Blood Elf hero using Felo'melorn and this is a fantastic asset to come across.
 
I used the model in a map and can say that it's just AMAZING. Feel so nice.

The only thing I could even make him better : make the SFX of channels/spell reforged visuals instead of classic, because we see the difference of quality of the model and the effect !

Amazing work. Indeed I decided to use this model instead of the original kael model too
I have 1 small issue that I have seen in the model
The hair goes in the armor. Can you update it to be seen on the armor
An alternative would be to keep it similar to how it look on your original modelkael'thas with Felo'melorn but it would not look like in the Icon which is an amazing ICON
Also as a cool update i think you can add the cloak design model from the original if you want

Thanks for the feedback mate! Yeah the cloak may look nicer with the armour, I will try to update him in due time but right now I have my hands full with the project.
 
A very exquisite model, but there is one regret: the animation of the characters when they stop moving is very "stiff", and I am not sure if I have expressed it accurately. This is just my personal feeling.

For HIGH QUALITY, I'd like to have the death sound fixed, add fluidity to the cape especially in Dissipate animation, and then add Attack Slam and Spell Slam animations, and then perhaps a Spell Channel similar to Stand Channel but his sword is pointed to the target instead
 
This is the nicest and coolest model I've seen so far from Kaelthas, would there be any chance of having a version without the floating dials going around?

It is a matter of pathing friend.
The model texture files have this path which you must follow

Now for this setting you must have the textures added right in the \Warcraft III\retail\ folder
Custom models that use custom textures have different paths depending on the author's choise of adding the path to the new textures
Always check the readme file you get with the model to see those settings or Download RMS and open the model there and check in it's Model section
In RMS you can also change the path if you prefer to use a custom personal path for the model textures

I read the read me file and it doesn't help with my problem i have no problem with the game editor. But after downloading RMS i just notice that the textures worked with the model Sun_King.mdx but after i rename the model Kael.mxd (if i don't rename it the game don't use the model in the file retail/unit/human/kael) the texture doesn't show image even in RMS. I'm pretty sur the change of name is the problem but i don't know how to bypass that.

The name does not matter do not believe for a second that is the case or you will be going the wrong way
Check the setting uptop and then do what I did bellow.
Make sure you have this setting if not create it. Else the changes will not be added

If you can not get it to work then your doing something wrong on your end.
Recheck what I said before and see what exactly is that you are missing on your side.

I am also using the following mods Age of Warcraft Mod Installer & Quenching which set my enable to 1 automatically.

I heve this setting.
i just recheck and it's identical as your picture
If it's not working then as I said it's something on your end that is missing.
Sorry but those settings work for me every time.
Only thing I can suggest now is to get the Age of Warcraft Mod Installer and set it up or maybe someone else knows what you are missing.
Also add here the pictures please with the settings so I can see that indeed their the same as I showed youa:)

I delete and reisntalll everything, and i download the Age of Warcraft Mod Installer.
And it worked !!!!!!
I don't knpw what happen but thank you very much =)
