Lazerus TD 5.0

This bundle is marked as useful / simple. Simplicity is bliss, low effort and/or may contain minor bugs.
In map descript(quick descript): Maze TD with Heroes to kill leaks (Solo TD and Team Hero D). Easy, Normal, Hard & Gauntlet Modes. Red picks 10, 30, 60, 100, 160, or infinity allowable Leaks. Earn Skulls by not leaking and Feathers by killing all air. '-repick' hero. '-auto' everyone.

Yes it is a TD. If you leak too many (red picks how many lives you get) then you lose. Yes it is a hero D. If your town ('the one box', in the hero area where leaks go) is destroyed you lose. Choose a hero, tower builders are all the same. Random a hero, get more mana for your builder (for the "builderbolt" ability).

Minion are created in your tower area and leak to everyone's hero area. You build a medium sized maze and up-grade your "maze blocks" to towers. If you leak then everyone's leaks go to a hero area where you have 'a second chance' or 'major feed' to kill all leaks with the hero you chose.

You need to build to kill all armor types. I used wc default armors;
-Medium: weak to none. (normal attk 100%)
-Light: weak to pierce 200%
-Heavy: weak to magic 125%
-‘Fort’ified: weak to siege 150%
-Unarmored is for AIR and ‘noob’ bonus units: weak to siege 150%
-Boss: weak to normal 150%


There are 10 towers (basic but that doesn't make it easy):
1: Normal: (normal) No lie. Best tower… Cannot stand alone.

2: Spear: (pierce) Has a slightly faster attack speed then all the other towers. Does good against most armor types.

3: Cannon: (siege) good splash but slow projectile speed. Do not mass this tower or try to pair it with just an ice cube.

4: Arcane: (magic) best range.

5: Ice Cube: (normal) slowing tower that has little damage but can upgrade to have progressive area of affect. NEVER TRY TO MASS THIS TOWER. NEVER USE THIS TOWER WITHOUT MANY OTHER TOWERS. Massing frost is not for this game. Frost is a buff not a race.

6: Trent: (siege) one of the best towers. Can attack air and has a small aoe. Also has the ‘Tree Sap’ ability which can bind air units to the ground allowing cannon towers to attack them making this tower a nice alt. to AA. (you might need more than one to pull this off)

7: Poison: (pierce) slowing and damage poison. Only hitting one unit at a time you will find its power against you when round 37 unit-Poison Freaks use the towers second upgrade’s ability on your heroes. OW!

8: Fire Blaster: (magic) VERY SMALL RANGE. Only able to attack within 3 spaces (300 range) but having a lot of damage makes this tower very testy. If you can place this tower just right it will be your best bud, if in a bad place, a waste of money (don’t forget air path).

9: (AA) Anti-Air: (doesn’t matter cause it does uber dam and has 1800 range but only attks air((pierce)) hello the “catch”! Fail to kill air with your towers is setting yourself up for cats ass trophy.
ReasonA: If a maze is useful to help you kill units by creating “DRAG” *causing units prolonged exposure to damage* then what do you do with a unit that flies over a ‘maze’? Uber AA!!
ReasonB: Air units have the best bounty in the game!
ReasonC: Air can kill heroes reallllly fast.

10: CHAOS TOWER: (CHAOS) Ultimate tower!
Requires: Normal lvl 5, Spear lvl 5, Cannon lvl 4, Trent lvl 4, Arcane lvl 4, Poison lvl 3, Ice Cube lvl 3, Fire Blaster lvl 3, AA lvl 3 and 650g.



There are 11 heroes:
Retrifier: Avatar, Shockwave, Crit Strike, Devine Shield, Devotion Aura.
Spawn Hunter: Metomorph, Chain Lightning, Evasion, Rain of Fire, Command Aura.
Slaughterer: Bladestorm, Breath of Fire, Immolation, Drunken Brawler, Vamp Aura.
Death Bringer: Animate Dead, Fan of Blades, Pulverize, Bloodlust, Unholy Aura.
Carnal Mage: Phoenix, Flame Strike, Wards, Forked Lightning, Brilliance Aura (1, stacks with 2).
Hammersmith: Stampede, Warstomp, Cleave, Summon Bears, Endurance aura.
Florian Ranger: Starfall, Multiple shot, Focused Shot, Blizzard, Trushot Aura.
Dark Matter: Death and Decay, Summon Dark Ghosts, Acid Bomb,Frost Nova, Brilliance Aura (2, stacks with 1)
Panderan Healmaster: Pandas Attack(3 mini fire pandas), Roar, Heal, Howl, Healing Aura.\
Forsaken Ranger: Scorned Rage, Frost Arrow, Bash, Life Drain, Speed Aura.
Lazerus(secret random only hero): Uber Monsoon, Manipulation, Neck Clamp, Dante’s Demise, Thorns Aura.


Red picks modes:
Easy, Normal or Hard difficulty.
Normal or Gauntlet Modes.
Lives between 10 an infinity.

Your hero will be revived for free only once. It will cost you 400 lumber to come back a second time. A person with a Skull must 'give' you your soul back and then it's another 400 lumber to revive a third and final time.

Skulls are earned by not leaking at all. Every boss round if you have 0 (ZERO) leaks you take a skull from a boss and can use it for team bonuses.
Feathers are earned by killing all air units and used for hero bonus.

The Multi Board is very useful, showing round info, next round info, and player info(although you can just type -next for the round info and minimize the board).

Weather patterns! It only snows before an air round and only rains before a boss round.

First of all - fix triggers. -debug - ing all the time isn't nice -.- Waves don't go especially about X5 wave - 15th, 25th..

Second - Helmet should give +7 armor and gives only +5

I'll edit post if i find anything more. Playing second time.

Saw that armor said +7. Crap sorry it needs to say (+5). +5 armor is balanced so its jus a mistype. I knew about that way before it just seemed to slip through. I fixed over 100 glitches from 4.3 untill I released 5.0 so tell me if you see any more?!

Right now grey has a txt glitch for color code if he wins on easy, and that Spine Helm armor txt glitch.

Sorry, I meant that it's written +7 and gives only +5 ;) I agree that +5 is enough.

Second playing will be today, because last time my electricity went down and I hadn't enough time later.

And do you know, why these waves get stuck?

Ok, I found the reason. Did you put anti-cheats here? If yes - they work in strange way, if not - cheats affects scripting. First time I played I used cheats. Now I didn't use any and waves went correctly.

HAHA I was aware of that. Yes I kind of left it in as an anti-cheat.

But if you must get around that, just wait until the round is done spawning before you kill them all and you should be fine. The trigger is if all units owned by brown are dead run next round. It is also destroying and creating spawn points. So if you kill the first unit out before the next unit is created then the point is destroyed, 5 secs the next round runs, as well will the remainder or the previous round. Not only that it does some weird stuff like stop spawning altogether.

To test I would build two worthy towers in the mid as to not kill bosses too fast (even though I did add some waits to the first couple boss rounds and the noob rounds), then do "whoisyourdaddy".

I only wanted to check all the towers. "whosyourdaddy" is the best way to do that xD

1 little thing - damages of 1st ice tower in tooltips are red. I noticed it last play.

Well I was thinking testing rounds. Whatever code you use, "just wait until the round is done spawning before you kill them all and you should be fine".

About the color text, that is a warning to people to notice that the Ice Cube does not have very much damage. I spent some time on the tool-tips, using color codes and adding useful tips and such.

Its just that people are used to ice towers as mass damage(I think cause of the frost race off of WMW), as I am used to them as a slowing buff tower (Mafa td, Demon Circle, ect.), not to be used unless other powerful towers are present.

Just downloaded and played this map solo. A very good TD overall. It did not bug at anytime for me, at least. Althougth there is not a great variety of towers, I like the synergy with the types of attack, speed and abilities. It is not too hard to play in the medium difficulty, considering it was my first time. Being able to use a hero to help defend is also a good option.

I think that some balance is still needed. The air tower is very powerful. Having it at level 2 can hold up to level 25 easily. The slow tower, in the other hand, is pretty slow, has a small AoE and is quite expensive considering the stats after each upgrade.

Whats the point in the hero part? Sure it's fun and giggles, but who cares when your leaks still count as leaks. :/ Yeah you'll get a bit of gold back, but seems like a lot of extra hassle.. guess Im just annoyed that I probably misread description thinking that heroes were there to kill off leaks so they wouldnt count as a leak.
