Some weapons and armor from units but remade into inventory item models for heroes. The items' animation bobs up and down, but does not rotate. Originally based off of the Glyph model for the animation and sparkles.
I haven't downloaded them, but do they rotate or wobble? Also, I have some tomes I put together using the same idea. I'll upload them here for others to use if any happen to see this thread.
Neato! An alternative version for each model as an attachment would also be immensely terrific. You could incorporate these alternatives as an animation to the existing models. As to how to do that, I believe fellow modelers could lend a hand. This Raptor Staff is a prime example of such incorporation. The model is both an item model and an attachment.

I believe making the model have an "alternate stand" for the floaty item, and just stand for the attachment, would work (I believe that item attachments do not like being told what to do).
I have imported those models in Jungle Trolls Reborn and they surely look wonderful.
However, a little bit late I discovered they are not visible at all when I switch to Classic.
I already spent 2 days in importing, resizing and recoloring them for the wide variety of items in the map, so I surely don't want to abandon them - but is there something I can do to ensure some compatibility with Classic?
Releasing and supporting of 2 versions of the game isn't a good solution at all, and attaching 2 versions of the models (SD and HD) would be a pain, even though I would consider it if there is no other choice.
