Bretonnian Men-at-arms

This bundle is marked as useful / simple. Simplicity is bliss, low effort and/or may contain minor bugs.
"Whilst highborn knights are the true backbone of most Bretonnian armies, the peasants form the overall bulk. In times of war, these peasants often receive no training at all and are simply rounded up and pointed at the enemy. Men-at-arms, on the other hand, are probably the closest thing to a professional soldier a Bretonnian army can field. These soldiers are equipped and trained at the expense of their local lord to fight on his behalf, with recruitment often starting at a relatively young age."

Derivatives of other people's models are to be categorized as simple/useful.
Please provide in-game screenshots for all models.
You also have to fix, improve and optimize your models:
For completeness I would like to see a written permission from HerrDave to use his models.
All of my models are freely available for anyone to use and edit, no need for credit.

There was a guy on some Chinese website who was selling my models for around $5 each a few years ago though;
That I do take issue with, but he's in China so I can't do anything about it.

@azazeron
Great job man, I like what you were able to do in such a short amount of time :)
Can we look forward to a Bretonnian Knight in the future?

Thank you for your review. I was very inspired by your 3D models, which made me want to learn how to make them. The Breton Knight is in progress, but I have less and less time every day. :(

Yes! The Bretonnians are here! Pls do the leader Louen too
Sounds like somewhat of an tall order for this specific modeler, even if i agree on the sentiment personally, i'd want to see generic Grail knights first, considering i can just start replacing heads for different dukes and some such for personal plans for warhammer map am creatin' even somewhat create louen in that same manner i suppose

Always love your models. But could you please add some kind of attack animation, like a vertical slash like a footman? Just slashing horizontally looks a bit awkward. This Man at Arms model and the State Trooper model will be more complete. Thanks.

Awesome simple useful pack BUT there seems to be an issue with the archer:
The black arrow from the model seems to appear in mid air, specially when the archer is chasing a unit to attack.
I've tried different "animation damage point" and "animation backswing point" and it still seems to happen.

I think you might check the Art - projectile launch XYZ, which dictates from where the projectil start firing relative to the unit.
Unless if it is another problem.

I just switched the model of the night elf archer with this one.
Its not the "projectile art" that appear in mid air, this one works as intended. Its the dark blue arrow that is part of the model appears in mid-air. You can see the arrow i'm talking about clearly in the animation "stand ready".

I think i figure it out, the archer doesn't hold the arrow when he stands. When the attack animation starts, the arrow appear in his hand and is launched instantly as if the attack animation should start by taking the arrow out of the quiver. The NE archer is empty handed too when standing and start her attack by pulling the arrow out of the quiver.

This is tricky to me, because on one hand kudos, I appreciate creators giving such wide latitude to other artists. On the other hand, it seems like some kind of crediting should be required (by the site, if not the original author themselves), because otherwise it seems as though this guy made this model entirely himself from scratch, which isn't correct. Gives the wrong impression (even if that doesn't hurt you personally, it sort of hurts the site reputationally (for lack of a better word)). 🤔
