  • Well, yesterday I did my last stress run of the Defense of Strahnbrad while heavily working on the Naga Race.

This version has all of the decor + newly added bonus content added. You can now burn a witch, have more content unlock as the game progresses and there are three orcish clans now in the Dark Horde faction instead of one.

    Basically, lots of changes.
I have a report from the Cattoland...

reads this foul report Villagerino and Longbowman have made an Alliance?!

By the Light of my Third Leg, the Barracks looked out standing but with Villagerino's help we will witness many glorious, fabulous models I tell you.

Yes, that was a shout out. You two do fabulous damn work that stays very close and true to the Warcraft formula.
Used hidden files in world editor, check. Used warcraft 3 alpha sounds, check.

Used painfully replaced Hellcream sound with that sweet voice of Grom, Grom, and Grom = check.

When units cast, they make sound. Done.

As for the icons, they represent content lost to time in the Warcraft 3 alpha such as techtree for faster mining or orc masonry. There are certain icons for spells that I'll also have to utilize.

And then comes the naga... sweet naga...
    Garona Halforcen.

    Half-Draenei, Half-Orc Or Half-Human, Half-Orc?

She lacks the common draenei features to be one & so logic, for her, dictated to tell everyone she is a half-human, half-orc aged by the Shadow Council's Magic.

She came from an orcish father of the Bladewind Clan & a human mother that the orc took for his prize as Gul'dan told her.

She is known as Kingslayer, Assassin, the Shadow of the Great Betrayer & many among the Horde despise her to this day while others admire all that she accomplished for an half-breed.

Yet, Alterac welcomes her kind from varying clans that carry the bloodlust in their hearts & she soon finds herself again, face to face, with some members among the Argus Wake that she recognized from her time in the council.

One day, however, a man would approach her & she considered him nothing but a madman until he spoke of fire, the same fire that consumed Gul'dan & the Horde.

Now she serves the Guardian, watching the varying orcish clans meeting in Alterac.

Trivia: A 3D render for Garona was made for the Warcraft 3 alpha but she never made it to the game!
During the Second War, one orc ventured through the dark portal and her name was Golka...

Golka was the former mate of Grom that abandoned her to death and she never forgot that. She joined the Shadow Council just to spite him.

The mother of Garrosh left her child at Garadar but crossed the dark portal. What awaited her is war but she never knew the price she would pay for it.

She kept an eye on Grom, kept him safe in her own way in secret, and yet one day it all ended for her.

Gul'dan came in and just snapped his fingers, despite the protest of his Warlocks they became the first death knights that day, and Golka was among them.

She had been infused in the body of a noble and she took the name of Lady Blaumeux.

Damn it, I knew her death Knight uniform looked familiar! They resembled the old Horde Death knights!
Alterac, the loweliest of kingdoms and yet the more agricultural. The Syndicate, warring bandit clans and lords. Aiden Perenolde sealed their fate when he allied with the Blackrock Clan and yet he sealed a future.

Today's Alteraci are all scattered, chased on their own land by the Alliance of Lordaeron. Their lands given away by Uther, their rage endless.

Deep within the mountain grows their home and yet they have visitors from the Blackrock, Black Tooth Grin, Dragonmaw, and Warsong Clan. As much as they hated the orcs, they also allied with those they choose to their liking.

The Argus Wake was the first to gain their foothold in the Syndicate because Aiden Perenolde used demons to keep himself in power and manipulated his own people to kill each other. But the Argus Wake serve the Legion and they wanted more; The Third War.

They can't control Alterac if all absolutely despise their King. This is when they will turn to the former King's children; Aliden & Beve.

It is inevitable, the Legion shall come and in return Alterac was promised that their glory and honor would be restored.

They're all connected. They're Scars of Conflict from the Second War.
I saw the recent housing trailer and controversy regarding what was said by Chris Metzen.

And I am the guy who quit the franchise a long time ago with the exception of this...

Meanwhile, I am working on a cinematic where Aiden Perenolde gets executed in front of the entirety of his people.

That's Warcraft, not Lovecraft. Hell, even Lovecraft was better.

It seems its up to the Hive to continue the craft of war.

Better in art is subjective. Regardless, I think we have to consider the times he was living in, his upbringing and life story and if he actually did anything more than think or write about those issues and not take action against some people for weird/irrational reasons hurting them.

Lovecraft was a racist. But it takes hate to put war into a lovecraft either way. In his own fictional world, god knows what he imagined but whatever he did made dark and horrific stories that people grew up to love. Warcraft had its own way once upon a time, how the emotions and team behind it built it all up.

I mean by Haosis' Flaming Beard, how many of the developers faced prosecution, whose names are now removed from the World of Warcraft that they created, even Overwatch...

A writer, a creator, is both good and evil. Always remember, so were they. Everyone has faults. No one is black and white, good or evil...

Whatever you create, you create with how you see the world. All artists/creators have flaws. No one is perfect. The most difficult part is to remember.

This is not the World of Warcraft I knew back in the god damn day. Thrall and Jaina were a couple, god damn it! It was taken from us! (Even if they ended up together again all of a sudden, that is way better than any modern day Blizzard writing) By Shar Dundred's Blade!

You guys create way more interesting, thoughtful provoking content nowadays. Not them. Everything is a cash grab now, I remember the days of picking up a game and eventually finishing it in 2 hours loving the story throughout. Damn it's a rarity.
Balnazzar the Defiler, Varimathras the Forsaken, Detheroc the Devout, Anetheron the Corruptor, Dalvengyr the Beguiler, Tichondrius the Darkener & Mal'Ganis the Eternal.

It shall be explained how they entered the world of Azeroth before the arrival of the Legion. But giving the titles for these power rangers as well as unique models for each was a intriguing task.
As I went to do one final polish, the Cattoland did not give me rest. It whispered to me and said 'phasing'.

Depending on how much content the player had completed on side quests (in scenarios where the player doesn't control an army) will determine what they will see next.

When a cinematic plays, a trigger activates. Certain regions change and new life finds its way. In some scenarios, evil finds its way to rest its weary head again and begin again.

The heroes that have aided the people will notice how grateful they are and see how their actions have impacted the world.

    Cattoland demanded.
Strahnbrad was finalized and am planning to release a video so that people can compare with the old version.

I updated the cinematics, added new dialogue, added marks above signs and shopkeepers. I added two small regions to the map and even updated the town of Strahnbrad where a whole new cinematic was added with new prisoners and more enemies added.

In this version, members of the Dragonmaw, Blackrock & Black Tooth Grin Clans make an appearance.

In this version, peasants also find a witch and burn her...
One day, whenever that day does comes.

I am the type who encourages anyone to view any campaign file of mine upon release.

My maps contain traces in each of them explaining the design decisions I made. The triggers will explain why I went with this decision or certain route for each cinematic or quest.

The files also contain concept designs, trivia & references, changes from alpha until the final release, and the list of authors who's models/skins were used in the campaign.

Basically, opening each map in that campaign file is like reading a diary and history of all the changes I catalog.

Strahnbrad is nearly finished. One more good push and I can showcase it in a video so people can compare it to my previous one.
    Going back to Strahnbrad/Strombad.

Apparently it was a city in the Warcraff RPG. (Wut?)

Apparently it had many digging fields and jails (wut, wut?)

Apparently they be digging a lot there and discovering things.

So as I go back to chapter one, I realized one thing. When the Slave Master charges in to kill those poor random villager blokes, they just stand there, and as he slaughters them he rides out in the distance. Second thing, it's possible not to activate a second Blackrock Trigger and still beat the mission.

Problem with that is that the Slave Master is not seen most of the time or half of the time because the player is distracted by combat. Why leave orcs alive?

So as I added the digging fields (which is conveniently added near my own custom overlook I made in the past), I decided its time to make the psychopath to be seen.

He'll ride through a building, demolishing it, only to charge back and kill those random village blokes he enslaved to dig in the field for treasure. He'll utilize jails to rally the humans inside of.

Let's give him a title worthy of an crazed orc riding a horse...
Due to the upgrade of the Horde tech-tree, I modernized the Blackrock Clan more.

In chapter one I moved all the bandit cinematic lines to Menag Dragunov, gave brand new ones for Benedict Verand, added voices for all the rescuable Alliance soldiers, added a poor militia in there, and overall distributed sounds to both enemies and allies.

I moved Menag to the Bloodridge Gate and his old camp also adopted new voicelines with new bandits.

To update the final boss was fun, he uses Raging Scream & Death Scream that are based on the Warcraft 3 Alpha Warlord's abilities. So it's like you're fighting a piece of the alpha truly restored.

It all had exchanges of voicelines between friends and foes while giving a final polish that was needed.

Oh, and players are able to exchange lumber to gold and vice versa. Another thing restored from the alpha which makes any extra excess resource useful.
Dear diary, I had a plan and I searched far and wide to find tunes for my revisit to Strabnbrad. I need to get EleveLabs now for AI voices, accepting any volunteers for bandit or soldier voice acting and do my most insane plane yet.

If you don't know what the tune, 'Rock & Awe' by Tim Wynn is, I suggest you try it. I have to revisit Garde'rak Doomroar and Strahnbrad to make the town an epic boss battle scene with that music playing. How to make such madness work?

Marshal Othmar Garithos will find a way.
My frequent testings let me notice something. I love the old Warcraft formula of researches, upgrades & Unit training but then I came across a Warcraft YouTuber who said they take too long, and I agreed.

However, I proceeded to try out the campaign and I noticed I relied more on my heroes rather than my own units. I also got a whole navy for all factions and that took extra resources.

So when you get chapters where extra resources took most of your time, it felt taxing and your army felt even more pointless. Same thing could be highly noticeable in the original campaign with Rexxar when he overpowered all units.

So then I bit the bullet, halfed all production cost of all faction tech-trees (including food cost) & production time. I went to test it & it was the most unforgettable combat I ever experienced.

Both factions vied for supremacy and duked it out until the end. The battle felt like a world at war and brought out the whole new meaning of Warcraft as I was rocking to heavy metal music.

I was always on edge and battling the enemy. My peasants moving in and constructing towers or fortifications as I raided their base. Every unit became viable and a must have.

Guard Captains lead Footmen & Swordsmen into battle accompanied by riflemen and their heroes battling the Blackrock Clan & Black Tooth Grin Clan with their Dark Shamans, Warlocks & Heroes.

When they tell you it's a bad idea, no it's not if you do it right. Rock on!
Gnolls, Bandits, Murlocs are the most common creeps found upon the game as a whole.

Kobolds, Forest Trolls & Ogres I'd rate as second and yet in my remake the obvious trolls and ogres are more fitting to be Horde Units, whether Old or New.

I updated my whole world editor to the point I updated all abilities, polished them, organized them, categorized them, & distributed them upon all units to make each creep challenging, unique & even added smart AI where they use all abilities at their disposal.

Then I thought; Goblins & updated them too. They summon Pocket Factories to summon Clockwerk Robots to explode their enemies, to attack you and on the field the goblins repair them.

They summon mortars that function like wards that bombard you from afar.

When a Mole Machine appears out of nowhere, goblins emerge from it to attack you.

Goblins are engineers. They are tinkerers. To see them you see destruction & damnation.

They are businessmen for the highest bidder as well & the East Venture Trading Company is hired to hunt down Thrall, & they appear with Hovercrafts on the Darkspear Islands.

Rizz Boomer, your legacy lives on, my goblin friend. The goblins shall rule again!
Well, this week has not yet ended for me. When it does, I shall be home to focus on my project yet again.

I shall be focusing on some minor improvements in my previous chapters.

I shall also focus on the Exodus 02 chapter & then the most ambitious project which is the Culling of Stratholme which will be like a raid/dungeon.

The same plan will follow for Exodus 03 which will turn into a dungeon-like raid overhaul.

A lot of work will go in these chapters that will introduce the combination of mythic chapter characters with the original ones.

Monte Gazlowe shall also make an appearance as the Horde shall be able to play as a Tinker hired by Utok Scratcher to assist Thrall.

His abilities shall be also improved upon.
My dear ladies and gentlemen of the fellow Cattoland (Hive Workshop).

This will be my last post as it is time for me to reunite with friends snd loved ones for the Cattmas (Christmas) holidays.

Although I will lurk around on occasion, my brain will be focused on vacation.

I wish you all lovely Cattmas times, memories, good with full cheer and love.

Until we meet again after Cattmas, fellow travelers!
I think to myself; I need a psychopath who is devoted to hard-core testing. Someone skilled but who...?

That being said, I am working on a Kul'Tiras Naval base called Port Hasic (sorry, lore freaks, but I am not going the Chronicle route of agreeing that the Unknown Naval Base is Southshore). Now why?

    • Kul'Tiras chase the Horde from the Mainland, so it was their base and ships in question that were ruined.
    • Southshore gives me 0 Kul'Tiras vibes.
    • Port Hasic has a cool background story and was deleted from the face of Azeroth because of Blizzards writing.
    • I edit all of my old 2Player maps and realize (Wow, I was far less skilled and cutting corners).
    • Those maps get fully redone and made into a single player exctazy.
    • I need to work on the 'Bonecrusher Hero' for the Horde.
    • Port Hasic's battle will resemble the Fall of Theramore battle.
    • All my new reworked Alliance heroes make an appearance in this one.
    • Lot of focus on Orc Tech-Tree and testing (latest design was a Great Orc Burrow, Pig Farm that can be upgraded to several attack type burrows with auras & a watch tower that is also upgradable while being built on water or on any stone)
I am working on Exodus and then after that comes my most ambitious project yet; The Culling of Stratholme. I've already designed a story plan and layout before proceeding with my plan. Here are quests by stages. Optional Quest (The Way Gates)

Stage One (The Culling, The Dark Knight of Stratholme)
Stage Two (The Infinite Alteraci, Brothers at Arms, The Great Escape)
Stage Three (The Might of Naxxramas)
Stage Four (The Ranger General, The Caverns of Time)
Stage Five (The Madman of Stratholme, The End of Infinity)
    Stage Six (Mal'Ganis the Eternal)
    Stage Seven (Divergent Courses)

See if you can guess any lore meaning behind them!
I decided to record the Mythic Chapter Two Demo and you know what? Grom went out in this one like a chad in the end. Dude held onto his axe until the end. That model is fucking epic if you know what to do with it. Pardon my french, comrades of the Cattoland. Happy holidays.
Perhaps going to be my final status update for a while. AI voice generator is excellent for existing characters and characters with existing sound files. New voices of characters you won't play with could certainly benefit from fine talented voice actors and during the Culling I'll see if I can find voice actors here over having them AI generated. The same thing can be said for Aliden & Aiden Perenolde (father and son). I prefer talent over AI generated custom characters but we'll see in time.
You know, I pay attention to detail when it comes to the lore & as I am making the RPG Enhanced I ran into something confusing about Reforged. Two liches, Venim Iceblade & Calis Wraithson, lead the charge of Hearthglen in the original. In Reforged, it is Araj the Summoner & Ras Frostwhisper.

Now how in Thrall's Balls did Ras Frostwhisper slit his throat, present himself to the Lich King (before he even became the Lich King) in the burning city of Stratholme's Slaughterhouse (that happened after Hearthglen), become a Lich & then lead the invasion of Hearthglen? Is this another retcon? Did he magically go back in time? Is he secretly an Infinite Dragon?

I mean, what in Thrall's Heavenly Balls, man?!

It's a really strange change they made in Reforged, my suggestion is to leave Venim Iceblade & Calis Wraithson as in the original and use Ras and Araj in your Scholomance map. And I think Venim and Calis were former Warlocks or Death Knights who followed Ner'zhul through the portal to the Twisting Nether and were transformed into liches by Kil'jaeden. P.S since you came back to HIVE I've been following your news about this campaign and I really like the work you're doing and I wish you much success in finishing it.

The Path to Scholomance, a.k.a. 'Bloodlines' map, is already finished for Kael'thas & Uther. My next three maps now are 'Chapter Five: March of the Scourge' & then Exodus 02. (Yes, Exodus of the Horde makes an appearance in this campaign as well although I just realized I never showcased Exodus 01 on here). Mythic Chapters answer a lot of unanswered questions and Exodus needs to answer them as well. As for Araj, he was planned to be used for Scholomance but it was scrapped. Ras, however, still can't be used because he needs to slit his throat and so he could only appear as a human at some point but would be stupid to kill him off since... well, he becomes a Lich. :P But I hear ya!
This is gonna sound like a stupid question so I'll ask. When I use custom sounds or campaign sounds, they play in my sound set. When I use sounds that are like 'UtherPissed01', lines that are said when the unit is clicked on normally, the sounds don't want to play... Am I missing something? O.o
    Greedy Martyrdom
    Greedy Martyrdom
you must click on sound, uncheck marks below (positional sound X, stop sound X, set Channel to "General", and make it "Default"
If regional sound or on unit, set distance max 1200 \ min 600 (its useful if sound is played on unit, so not every player will hear it)

For example import\add Dialogue sound when Uther talks in cinematic for first mission of human campaign, "Uther001", click on it and see how are settings set up and copy on "UtherPissed01" (for example)

You can also play sound using custom code

Custom script if GetOwningPlayer(GetTriggerUnit()) == GetLocalPlayer() then // For example when unit enters region
Sound - play sound // sound that contains Play "UtherPissed01"
    Custom script endif

You are a chad, sir, I mean more than you already are. It worked flawlessly and fixed many of my issues. Strangely, I never had these before Reforged until now and so it means a lot to me that it is fixed.
I will put this here but honestly I do not expect anything from it but hey, worth a shot. There are the list of Bosses that will appear in the Culling of Stratholme [As planned]:

    - Magistrate Barthilas - A former paladin turned magistrate, encountered at the Town Hall in the Festival Lane.
    • Lylia Heavensblade - A Human Paladin of the Silver Hand that is stuck between slaughtering the Citizens of Stratholme & facing the Purgers of the City, encountered at Alonsous Chappel.
    • Sir Gregory Edmunson (The Bold) & Lord Nicholas Buzan (The Fearless) - Two Silver Hand Paladins encountered before the Bastion of the Silver Hand that are of the Alteraci people. They rally the citizens to defend against the maddening forces that wish to purge the city.
    • Arkus Salramm Winterchill (The Fleshcrafter) - A former mage of the Kirin Tor & student of the Scholomance loyal to none other than Beve Perenolde whom he once mentored. Arkus takes great pleasure in seeing the fall of Stratholme & is encountered within the Gauntlet.
    Pyraeus
    Pyraeus
    • Meathook - The Fleshcrafter's favorite pet armored abomination created within the Scholomance that is encountered in the Slaughter Square, feasting upon the poor unfortunate lifestock found there during the Culling.
    • Mal'Ganis (The Eternal) & Naxxramas [The Dreaded Citadel] - Encountered at the Harbor, Mal'Ganis with the help of Naxxramas is the final encounter.

Now, Stratholme's terrain is almost done and many triggers will be made in due time for it. Nowhere soon will I be working on them, however, due to my focus being on two previous maps I have to edit and also add some more features to the campaign. However, that being said, if anyone is interested in doing Boss Fights or experimenting to make them. Speak up and maybe in the far future you could work on these.

Have fun, everyone, I am off to a Christmas Party.

This is my Update for the City of Stratholme:
    - Diving deep into the lore, my rendition of Stratholme will include everything in it from; King's Square, Festival Lane, Market Row, Crusader's Square, Elder's Square, The Gauntlet, Slaughter Square (Meat Packaging Plant) & The Harbor. It will also include the Stratholme Side Entrance [Which is portrayed in this version as a mining tunnel].

As an old WoW Player myself with thorough memory, I will be paying attention to heavy detail when it comes to this map. You will also see the village of Westdale [Which later becomes Terrordale] and an extra section behind the Slaughter Square [Where Naxxramas & the dreaded Mal'Ganis shall be encountered].

I shall provide two links to showcase the amount of detail with the first one being the ALPHA Naxxramas from WoW Classic: Slaughter Square which I had the pleasure of glitching to & exploring myself once upon a time. It is here that Naxxramas was meant to have its own raid instance before the plan was scrapped and I liked the idea so much I added it in the lore.

As for attention to detail, although I will model it as my own Warcraft 3 Rendition. I will heavily focus on this layout of a 'Before & After'

As with the rest of my RPG Enhanced, Signs of Shops will reference the Shopkeepers from WoW & New Shopkeepers added will be named after Hive Workshop Community members which will appear in the Gauntlet & Slaughter Square. The biggest time consumption is all the finicky, little detail I always aim for.

I will not rush like any part of my project as I am also working on Hearthglen & Scholomance Academy!
It is amazing what beautiful models, skins, and even maps came throughout the years from this community. I just wanted to say thank you to anyone out there, from the smallest to the biggest guys, for all their hard work and effort. Why? That time of year is closing by and people deserve to hear it. Other than that, I did this whole bloody map for Scholomance where Kael'thas and Uther had to venture into only for me to get so dissatisfied with it I decided to scrap it, hold of until my mind is clear and attempt it again. When you need to kill your babies, just skip to develop others I the meantime like Stratholme I says.

I never do. I know if I overload ill keep the map file and whatever on the side because I revisit it. Like sometimes you design content that works and you reuse it for a certain other map where it works just better, you know? In fact, I am keeping my beta content in the campaign files and think to myself what if someone else wants to see my beta/alpha plans that never made it to fruition. But then I don't want people to download bigger filesizes.
holy sheet grot your remaking the entire campaign? darn seaweed eaters!

No, I am remaking the Scourge of Lordaeron. So each original map will be updated as the screenshots have shown + nine custom missions will be introduced in the form of 'Mythic Chapters' where players can witness the side story of the Alteraci, of the Horde, etc. Basically, it will explain to you why the Blackrock Clan is seen in Ashenvale, what role the Alteraci play in future crises, what Kael'thas' role was during the Third War, the backstory for Lord Garithos, and there will be a map re-made entirely from scratch and that is the Culling of Stratholme because I want it to feel like a Culling. The mission will not be the same where you just cull a 100 villagers and it's done. There will be a lot more to that and it will be a grand undertaking.

    Hello there, Forsaken.

I am doing swell. I suffer from insomnia, which is a condition of not being able to sleep. No, it isn't due to depression. It just how it is.

It is the only slowing factor in my life. Other than that, I am back but this time taking my time into consideration. I aim to finish the only project I started and finish it, and it will most likely be my last one that is very taxing.

Everything is aimed to be very immersive and so that's where I am.

How are you, forsaken blood elf?
    Forsaken
    Forsaken
I'm glad to hear you're back and taking things at your own pace. Insomnia sounds tough, but I hope you be ok.

I'm doing well, thanks for asking! I'm also trying to do something new, but I'm taking it really slow. Just feeling things out and seeing where it goes. What kind of project are you working on?
    Pyraeus
    Pyraeus
Well, I already shared many images of the project & my plans regarding it. I am working on what I originally started & never finished: A RPG Enhanced Version of the Original Scourge of Lordaeron Campaign.

So the original has 9 missions & there will be also + 9 more missions in that campaign that add to the story telling the tale of the Alteraci People, of the past of several characters such as Garithos, Arkus (Rage Winterchill) etc.

The project will also have a grand redesign of Stratholme. It's a project where you can read every sign, tombstone, diary that enemies drop, where most units shout at you. Basically, immersion increased by a 100%. It's not easy and it will take quite some time. It will be my last project for sure and I can't wait to see people's reaction if I ever get it finished.

I re-designed/polished all the original tech-trees (units, heroes, buildings, etc) as well as abilities of everyone. It is a gameplay the player will return to, yes, that is very familiar but also very new at the same time. The example of this design can be seen in my images I posted.

Yes, Insomnia is a bitch and I hate it.
    - So, currently I have two issues in Blackrock & Roll Chapter. They're rather unusual issues.
Issue 1: During the cinematic with Uther, the Blademaster does Spawn a Fake Mirror Image to speak to him. However, there are times the mirror image is not spawned & it doesn't appear at all. I never had an issue with this until Reforged & looked into any alternative reason as to why it happens, still unable to find one.

Issue 2: When the Ending Cinematic is about to come, my game unexpectedly crashes & encounters an error. My only suspicion is that the triggers did not like the 'Rune of the Watcher' as it makes every unit in the playable map area invulnerable. However, I set it to only aim for the factions in the map.

Issue 3 (Fixed, Honorable Mention): Apparently, selecting each unit in the map & making them vulnerable will also make gold mines vulnerable now (only in Reforged) despite myself not removing the ability from the goldmines.

I enjoy developing but god damn these new rising bugs that I encounter. I wish I could patch my game just to avoid this headache but then I think about the players who have my version too.

That is the confusing part, my dear Mage, as that is exactly what the trigger does. It spawns the blademaster, has the mirror image set up, sets up the variable for that mirror image (for when Uther destroys the bugger later on) and his mana (I am pretty sure) is way more than sufficient - (EDIT: The trigger sets his manna to max during the Set Up, so it's way more than sufficient) So I set up a testing trigger solely just to spawn him as I was curious as to what happens. So the blademaster spawns and often doesn't use the mirror image ability.

So I kept spamming the testing button and it's like he has a 20% chance to spawn that bloody mirror image and actually work.

Now, yes, the 'unit is attacked' during the cinematic but it can't be done/shouldn't be done with a real Blademaster because Uther says later on 'Damn, it was only a mirror image'. I can't have a real Blademaster just dying there and Uther stating it's a mirror image, you know?

I am confused as to what you mean by the Damage Engine part though?

EDIT 02: Apparently, selecting each unit on map to make them invulnerable/hidden is not liked by the game. So when I selected only for it to do the playable factions & to remove all the Watcher Wards from the game (it worked). I can finish the map. Blademaster still bugged. :P

So, with a Damage Engine/Is Unit Attacked, the Blademaster at max health just get removed when the attack lands and a special effect that mimics the Mirror Image is shown to the player. This is an alternative if Mirror Image is being inconsistent.

Curious, is this happening in this map? 2Player: Human02

It never happened in that map but I haven't opened it for a long time. A lot of old triggers and stupid stuff broke with Reforged. So I find myself always working against Reforged, if that makes sense?

Now about that special effect; would you by any chance know what special effect could resemble the mirror image by any chance? (I'll probably look into it myself but you have a very good idea, I must admit)
I have returned temporarily and before I drift off I want to say that anyone, anywhere, is allowed to edit my past projects however they please.

It’s better to see love put into any kind of work rather than it collecting dust.
    Pyraeus what are you doin???

I honestly didn’t expect a comment for the year 2024 on my account.

I am doing nothing. I sort of retired from the Warcraft 3 scene due to personal health and my life.

That being said, I have logged in the first time today to see what’s changed and what is going on.

I would consider it but honestly I lost all will to do 2 Player Campaigns for various reasons.

    1. Each time you create a 2 Player Campaign, you need to implement everything starting from scratch.
    2. I like to be very detailed and that enhances the work load.
    3. Most maps have now been broken in Reforged, especially my maps.
    How fare thee little Pyraeus?

    Understood. Thank you.

The current editor sometimes loads Reforged Models in the Old Classic Version.

It also throws random bugs at me although everything is correctly displayed in it.

Have you set it to Classic graphics mode in the settings?
What kind of bugs? Perhaps opening a thread in World Editor Help Zone might be a good idea?

Yes, I have set it to Classic. The bugs are 'Reforged Models' sometimes appear in game when I start it. For instance, a Blacksmith randomly turns into a Reforged model instead of a Classic model when I am in game, and I am using Classic mode settings. xD

Happy New Years, members of the Hive Workshop. If any ask about my absence. I have one month work of paperwork and it’s back to the Peasant Factory.
To all people of the Hive Workshop I wish a very Merry and Happy Christmas. May your spirits be filled with cheer and love on this time of year to hold on to the tradition where we aren’t douchebags one time a year or very selfish. I hope our worgen: Santa Claws... will find you all good this year. May you have a New Year soon to come from Azeroth.
I am going to look around and say. If anyone has some epic orcish unit names they always wanted to use. I want to hear them all from various people of this community. By unit names I mean like 'Raider, Grunts'. Share your thoughts and perhaps some I will even use.

You could search for orc names in games and decide whether to use some of those or just be inspired by them.
