I just saw that you had a post on my 'Non WC Mod' page from a couple years back - sorry I didn't get back to you on that!
When Winter and I were working on it at the time, it was very exciting but also rapidly growing more and more out of control - it is possible we may fine tune it up a bit, maybe lower the scope of it with the basis of what we have and release something smaller than what was originally planned, but that project did sort of land in a state of permanent hiatus for now.
What has been getting worked on more lately, however, has been Battleforge - this sort of takes a much tidier approach to what I was initially trying to accomplish with NWC, while keeping the original scope. At present, I have four fully playable factions and it should be ready for upload soon! That thread also became closed due to extended inactivity (I'm not the best at keeping up to date with online posting
). If it's something that interests you, there's a link to the Discord server for Battleforge on the thread and I'm looking to get a start on open playtesting soon
