Amazing sprite animations, I absolutely love the art. C. The great Magical Hat and Boots of Speed setting with that OLD really really Old magical settings that weren't described as Fantasy but more like, Magical. I can't really describe that.. and C. Just, amazing RTS game as in Races, differences in Races, balance (after a few modded patches by me), racial interaction, hidden stuff. I mean, AoE is just Dull. It hasn't got many stuff to do, the Guilds in Tzar allow for soooo much difference in the gameplay styles of every player and when you steal a different race the game gets even more complex. Leveling units is awesome, etc. etc. So many reasons I love the game. D. I would like to point out it is NOT because it's a Bulgarian game. I am not a patriot and I kind of hate patriotism as it is egoism in a nutshell. It's stupid. So please do not be fooled that I put it on the list because it's a game of my own country. I just like it a lot. I find it to be the most full of stuff RTS (in the Medieval genre).

- I prefer Oblivion not because of Nostalgia but because of Soundtrack, atmosphere, quests. Skyrim modded can get pretty close to Oblivion modded and if I figure out a way to change it's feel to an Oblivion like it could top Oblivion for me. I've played both a lot, like both a lot, but I just prefer Oblivion as the atmosphere is so so so frigging amazing. I even have the soundtrack on my Mp3 player Skyrim pieces? Only 1 made it there.

Yea I know it's not one race but why did we get to see the lame part? I mean, I know WHY (cuz it would have been too much work to make it otherwise, making yet another useless character is way easier) but .. I was just so curious. He still kind of.. becomes an enjoyable character after a while and the fact that he is a military dude with backstory as to why he is brutal is cool but, I just see it as a missed opportunity. Cool character, missed opportunity for protheans.

Assassin's Creed - hate them because: Thief. Warrior's Creed. Not Assassin's. A bad recopy of a supposed-to-be Thief and Prince of Persia. But a good game otherwise. It had awesome environment and was enjoyable. Still, I did not like it overall. Besides.. alien shit? That pissed me off a bit.
Amnesia - played a bit, but I do not usually play many horror games...
Heretic II? - haven't heard of it. Could check it out but I already have so many games on my list and I'm thinking of starting from Chrono trigger.
HoMM5 - Played it. Was good. But quickly forgot about it as I have HoMM3. WoG version to be exact.
King's Bounty - hmm, I've heard it but haven't played it, unfortunately.
Myst Series - don't know it
Silver - yet again.
Terraria - never got to play it.

HoMM3, Knights of Honor, Jedi Knight Jedi Academy (most played game by me, probably over a 150 times whole campaign (I'm serious. Eh.. I was young back then.)), Tzar: The Burden of the Crown, Age of Empires II/Age of Mythology (although Empires is better), Battlefront II, World of Warcraft to TBC and WOTLK.. kind of, Chivalry Medieval Warfare/Deadliest Warriors, The Witcher 3, Diablo II (definetely), The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, Mortal Kombat 4, Minecraft, Spore (kind of), Prince of Persia, Thief.

So those are my most played games or at least that I could think of... Did I, by any chance, get lucky with at least 1 xD?

OO O! MASS EFFECT SPOILERS ALERTS FOR THOSE READING. DON'T READ, PLAY!


Actually, Jacob got to be kind of a cool guy until ME3, so did Jack, whom I hated as well. Miranda never progressed, Grunt became a.. well, nowhere near in my list compared to Wrex but still cool. Also, all the ME1 characters were awesome except Ashley and Kaidan (but they were humans, Mass effect almost never had any good human characters...). With ME2 and ME3 its full of shit characters! They even made it intentionally, the developers. Saying "people have to dislike them and grow attached to them afterwards".. doesn't work that way bitch.

Actually I think ME2 revealed almost no story, even with that Reaper. It just had an amazing villain being progressed and then totally dumped and turned into a copied Saren in ME3. Cuz the Illusive Man in ME2 was the shit, in ME3 he was just.. shit.

The prothean in ME3 was a DLC and also I found him to be.. rather boring. Why would they pick a military Prothean, would have been so much cooler if it was some scientist dude who would reveal their ways of life, their fight with the Reapers and so on. To really matter! Not be.. "oh, yet another party member who I do not really need". Also, he kind of ruined the Prothean race as I envisioned it from ME1. They were so mysterious and cool, a tinker race, one who found out about the Reapers way before the races now did.. whatever though.

Yes, the circle idea was cool, but the child and all was still shit. Even after that ending dlc, I just.. didn't find it to be that much changed. Still the same lights n shit... uh. Soundtrack actually is best in ME1 as in ME3 they still reuse some of it. And ME2 (I have all the soundtracks, only new good piece is Grunt's one in ME3.. and a few others I think).
And, while I liked the scenes with the Illusive man in ME3, I think they turned him too Villain, while he wasn't, really. He wasn't supposed to be a copy of Saren like they made him, he wanted to fight the Reapers, unlike Saren. He didn't wanna turn us in. And I hate that your choices in ME2 never really mattered in ME3 (even with the DLCs), and one choice I'll point out is that when you team with the Illusive man, he still betrays you for no fucking reason. Cuz why not, we need a 100% villain cuz our Harbinger dude is too lame. That's why I loved ME1 where Saren had his struggles and was only partially evil but we could still see the true evil behind, Sovereign, who was really epic. All the bad guys were awesome. In ME2 there just wasn't much going on.. I feel like nothing important happened. We had all this information from ME1 and did nothing with it. We didn't research prothean stuff like we did in ME3.. Eh, I don't know. Also, nothing tops Saren's Death scene from all ME scenes for me.
(I'd like to point out I didn't team with the Illusive man, but my brother did and it turned out to be useless)

Yes Mass Effect is awesome. But we can't disagree that Commander Shepard is kinda lame and that everyone always does what he wants... which is kinda lame. Still a cool hero though, if you play Paragon. Renegade is.. lame. I mean, he's not even a bad ass bad guy protagonist, he's just a dumb bully fuck. Love this game though, don't get me wrong! Best game ever.. from that genre. Mass Effect 1 is my favouritte. Not cuz of nostalgy cuz I started playing mass effect after all had (nearly except ME3 which was to release soon) come out and I started from ME2, but because it had the best plot. And since ME is a game of plot, I evaluate ME1 highest. It's got the best villains, best characters (Liara was cuter in ME1 :3.. she became a bitch later on... Tali wasn't a fanatical religious one and so on), most interesting story with no lame Harbinger and bullshit Child and Sovereign. The ultimate bad ass. Also, it had the most "mass effect feel" citadel and environment (that last pods environment? Aaaaa. And I just love the fact that my opinion isn't nostalgy. Cuz I often ponder on these stuff. "Is this product better in my view, or just nostalgy blinding me?")

Oh yes, don't get me STARTED. HOW THERE THEY TOUCH GROM AND ILLIDAN?! MY MOST FAV CHARS. They were dead ;______; let them rest in piece. Don't stupify them please... As much as I love lore I do not give it more or less power when comparing it to other aspects. Examples? Mass effect. Great game. One of the best. Has some average/above average aspects. Witcher! Not the best story. Great characters. Great game. Awful UI. Not the nicest gameplay. Still great (W3, W2 is a good game, not great). And the list goes on and on. I mean, WoW is still great even though it has bad story. I'll skip to movies to give a quick example - Star Wars has great lore and story but it is badly presented (aka crappy conversations). Doesn't make it a "good" product, it's still a "great" product. So that's my evaluation system. 1-2 main and many little aspects can still be lacking but the game great. With the new WoWs, more than 2 MAIN aspects are awful bs. With the first WoW's from art (icons and the like, not the 3d models which were.. eh. Good) to the grand universe, gameplay, that flowing gameplay I still love, SOUNDTRACK (fucking epic), I can't put a finger on those stuff. So, still a great product. However, with new WoW's more was expected. Same amount (or even less) was delivered.

I think the creator chooses the price for the item though.

Hmm well with Blizzard and WoW I'll have to partially disagree as the first 2-3 WoWs were great and innovative, truly, masterful pieces, the best MMORPGS still up to today. Well yea the lore got fucked up even with the Vanilla one kinda but the games were great. I could forgive 1 failed part (lore). But nowadays? Well.. sure, it's still the best MMO out there but come on! What degradation is that? It's even worse than the previous expansions. Fucking pokemon in WoW. What's that shit doing there? It's for children! I loved it, but don't put it in my WoW please... Uh. Yea, when someone brings new Blizzard up I always get mad furious. Cuz I loved Blizzard so much. Warcraft 3 is still the most perfected product in my view (not saying it's the best game, but it is the most masterfully done, in ALL aspects. Other games will always have 1 or 2 aspects lacking. This one? I can only nitpick it)

So, I'll try persuading you to not make Dota 2 models. Chances are it will turn out to be a waste of time, as Valve wants their models to sell even though theirs look like shit. If awesome models came in for like 1 euro.. pff. GG right? They don't want that. They don't want you. Heck, they even demolished modding! There was some hope of modding at start and people would have thought they'd have expanded that but instead now you can't even have custom made by yourself UI. Uh...

Cuz Valve started sucking ass after Steam. Or from before, I wouldn't know. Still, they looked kinda cool before and made better games.

Well, for blender there were a few stuff that weren't as easily found as in Maya but the working flow is faster. I mean, the controls. I just find the more suitable.
Dota 2? Yea I intended to try that as well but gave up once I saw that even Ghost765's awesome model idea got rejected due to Valve wanting to keep Dota 2 as lame as Puck's model (aka over exaggeratedb bs). Besides, they take a too big a percent of the sales. The more you have the more greedy you get huh? Interesting really..

As to the programs, there are always trials you know... (I mean, to try them out and then consider other options )

Blender is free and simple. Start with it. 3ds Studio I find to have an awful interface and UI overall. (For me personally, even worse than Milkshape xD Not to be a hater, just voicing my preference so you can uh.. Get a better idea of the other programs?) Zbrush - now that's the deal. Artistic, of course, for finished models, high poly. But worth a try to get a sense of what future 3d programs might be like (hopefully even low poly ones!). Maya, best, as I said for.. anything to be honest. High poly and low poly. People say 3ds is for Game 3d model making but.. I'd choose Maya anyday (if I had the moneyz). So yea, what else is left? there was another one I cant think of atm.
But for realz - Blender, people hate it cuz for advanced users its prob shit, but its real quick. I made 3 building models with almost no experience in 3d fairly quickly (compared to how much time it took me to make a ship in Maya). Could be just me though.
