Worse ? I think it has improved a lot ( remember the old one was nearly plain colour) ^^
I will try to get over it once more, it already got a bit messy, maybe I will copy paste the outer ring instead of trying to clean up the UV mapping.
Another point, what do you think about the bottom texture, the inner one, under the fire ? I thought about it and I think it does not match really, I think I will change it to the texture part I used for the inner parts, too. What do you think ?

Alright, I tinkered around, optimized particles and facing angle, the wrap shown by default should be fine, the other parts are a bit trashy though. I myself consider it not important though, as I can hardly imagine someone is using the little outer sides for anything, neither in cinematic nor as doodad.
Also changed the inner bottom tile, it looks much better in my opinion.
By the way, I noticed Mdlvis created a helper instead of a bone and I attached one attachment point to it, is it alright ? Since there is no animation involved or does it have to be a bone ?
