Its been a long time since we talked...too long

Hmm... I can start piecing together what I can, though again.. It wont be anywhere close to the full credits. So many people have gotten their fingerprints on the map over the years. Like I said, it dates all the way back to Reign of Chaos. Thats 12 years of editing.

Who could I talk to about getting that ScoobyDooby-Doo account linked to my current email? I'm assuming, based off its age, it must be linked to my old Yahoo account that I haven't had access to for a good 6 or 7 years. Its definitely my account, though I dont know what on earth I was talking about at the time.. Gah, that was an old, incredibly old project.

I just need a little more buffer time between school and summer break. I'll be super active very soon, possibly by tomorrow or the next day.

Hey, just getting back to you from your post on my map's forums.

Per the Hive uploading rules, RoTRP wouldn't be allowed on the site. The map, at its core, is over 10 years old. Everything stems from the original MRP map released during the Reign of Chaos days. Resources have been being added and removed constantly through over a decade of development by ~20 to 25 different developers. MRP, DoBRP, CotMRP, HRP, SotDRP, & RoTRP are the main line, each one using the previous as a foundation and each one having a different team of developers. Other maps, such as XRP, NGoRP, ARP, and a plethora of others have splintered off these projects and had elements reincorporated.

To provide even remotely accurate credit for all the resources on the map simply isn't possible.

I believe people don't update their maps because they are discouraged by bad reviews.

perhaps a new map section should be created

beta testing

a section 'awaiting updates' maps go where the public who like beta testing can go test their maps

I find that after the reviews I would update my map and get reviewed again, only for the review to prove my map with more errors.

a beta tester could provide a good map maker with constant reliable error checks as the map is updated.

there are a lot of people who like to beta test, but perhaps if we encouraged people to beta test it should increase traffic to this site

meaning more possible reviewers moderators and activity :-)

maybe in just dreaming, but it's worth a shot

Thank you for the request, I accepted. For the signature, I would like to add a MR, too, but am I allowed to modify it to give it my own style ? Not necessarily something I am going to do, but I would like to know whether I am allowed to ( of course no weird style, but maybe you would like to have having all the same except colour variations).

I think the question of freedom of a reviewer is difficult. Of course, each reviewer is an individual and one has to keep in mind that they might have great differences concerning emphasis and importance of aspects, so freedom would be to emphasize certain aspects, I would say.
I am going to try to stay neutral with keeping in mind that Hive has a certain standard.
I read the discussion between Shar Dundred, Shadow Fury and you and I think I have to write many reviews to achieve a that amount of experience ( which I will try, of course!)

By the way, I am actually surprised you liked the review of Demon Escape, not even to mention the reputation you gave me, thank you for that. I feared that I was too rude, being kind of a .. not friendly person toward the map ( although the aspects of the review are true, in my opinion). But I am glad that it was pleasing you. Tho, I am going to try to keep an civiler tone in upcoming reviews.

Hello sir, in my last map, why you use shadow fury's review instead of yours ??? I think moderators will be not following non-moderators review because you have different perspective
You can review his "review" but not use it as a "base" .
Because, for me, shadow fury is not too professional in reviewing maps , He said that he can create excellent terrain which is not . Kindly look my terrains... He applied his taste on map which is not good as a moderator.. Although he have a potential because of "detailed" criticism ...
I'm saying this because all of his reviewed maps got a low rating even the map is good... He implying his taste .
You, as a moderator, I think you don't need to follow his reviews, try to review as your own opinion ...

people are still contacting me about my map because they are finding it difficult to get the latest version.

epic maps is a nice little plat form to deliver maps to fans but not really a reliable place to communicate with them
