I made a post, but then saw you prefer/asked for PMs on the matter, so...

Y'know, this is serendipitously almost perfect for an idea I had recently for my rush-job Goblin race for the Techtree Contest... On that note, if you included both a "Walk Fast" (simple copy of "Walk" but twice as fast) and a gooshy-explody alternate "Death" anim with slimey-gooshy particles (like SPLAT!)... Well, let's just say you'd have made a new friend. :p

thanks.. will try to do that... just that Death Alternate (Slpat may be hard) I need to think how to do it :p i will somehow make it :p

but i hope you can wait.. tomorrow i have my Most Stress Exam Paper

Of course! No rush, man; if I missed the deadline for the Contest, it will have been before you even got started, so no biggie. School & studying is waaaay more important.

The 'Splat' I'm suggesting shouldn't be super-difficult; basically I am attempting to re-create the explosion of the Scarab sent from the Protoss Reaver (from Sc1). But instead of energy, it's more like a Goblin "Sludge Tank" that 'trains' & fires 'sentient balls of goo' that race towards the target building & explode, dealing massive damage.

    Goblin Have Slime?

*Can you help me find the warcraft Spider egg path? I can't find it :p I need ti to get an idea how to make That Slime *SPLAT*
    ----------
They do when they are experimental researchers in the "Alchemist's Union". :p

Doned and Updated the Slime :D

Awexome! It looks pretty dang cool (might ask if I can throw a few more particles on that Death sequence myself), and I appreciate it! Now, don't fail your test on my account! :p

    (also, cool Ice/Fire Slime)
I will, check it out later! Cause in on Android right now! Thanks. Can you do another?

It will be a unit but it has hero glow remove it and when this unit dies its body is still there and does not decay and will vanish for a period of time, so I like you to add a corpse or decay animations, please!
Well, it's not heavy though, I think just remove the hero glow and add decay animations. Would you?
Hehe, sure, what kind of tips do you need?
How do you usually go about modeling a body mesh?
I've never used Mdlvis for animating actually.

Animating is quite fun :) my favorite part in making models is probably texturing though, and it's also one of the most important parts for a low-poly game like WC3. A good texture can really make a huge difference.
Btw, sorry for not answering your message before, I kinda forgot :/

Anyway, it's great that you started animating! And trust me, using Blender is NOT bad news. On the contrary, if you master Blender you will have a huge advantage, since it's free and open source. I started out with 3DS Max, so migrating to Blender for me now seems like a huge hassle. I wish I could use Blender though :)
Particles... hmm.. Never really played much with those to be honest. Back in the day (way back when, when I did model edits of existing models) I sometimes used Oinkerwinkles particle editor (think that's what it's called, not sure though) to add particles to my model. Never did master it though, always thought they were a pain to make. I think you can make them with Magos Model Editor as well. There might be a tutorial on the forum ;)
Well at least you did saw my request and that's good enough for me, okay i will ask someone else than thank you for the reply.
well it's about 5-6 years..? oO my last computer lasted 10 years before finally hitting the bucket xD
kinda pretty flimsy.. and i'm unsure about it, mainly because war3 naga skeletons are among the most messy ones and practicing on them can get a lill frustrating :p

anyway, I like the attack 1 animation, but i couldn't take a good look at the rest because my display adapter kept crashing, so that means i can't do anything modding or moderator related for now..

the rest of what i could glimpse looks like the naga is still holding something.. you should keep his arms down in idles.. and in walking..
