Ralle, how much does it cost to setup THW back in 2004?
I intend to transfer my site from a free hosting to VBulletin hosting if possible, if not I'll start from scratch, but first I really need to get the price data (as I'm a student).
I got a negrep from you saying that a post wasn't useful, then the creator of the thread gave me a rep for the same post saying it was useful.
It seems more like a tutorial to me but I'm not sure. Maybe the one that posted it will shed more light on what they want it to be. It does seem like good information but it is definitely not a question.

I guess I could do a one-time article on terraining, but I don't think terraining covers enough interesting content for the general hive member to spread it out over several entries. And other than terraining, there's not really much else I do have any sort of expertise on, what modding is concerned. So. Yeah.

Yeah, it was, the merge happened in 2006. The server hangs seemed to coincide temporarily with my tabbing spree. Not all, though, maybe because other people were doing the same as I.
Hey, I've gotten curious on this sort of web-related stuff with this Computer Networking course I'm taking at university.
Back in 2008, the Hive's server was having problems and I think I remember you saying someone was hitting the Hive with too many connections. I always thought that was my fault because I sometimes opened like 3 to 5 tabs at once. Now I believe I actually was responsible Firefox is configured to open like 8 parallel connections at once, no? That's 40 connections hitting the Hive at worst
Does your server use traditional process forking, thread creation or just a limited pool or threads?
