Good! I agree. I think it may not be a good idea to make everything public. You are banning because of what you did not want to spread in the forums after all. Maybe you should the friends of the banned<span style="font-size: 9px">(like when they move the mouse across the small banned user icon or the visitors)</span>. I am sure you are so creative that you will find a better way to balance between these<span style="font-size: 9px">(since I did not consider it thoroughly, oh thank god I am not an admin)</span>

Imagine that I have known someone in the forum. He/She was nice to me. Then, we became close friends, or even just friends. And then, one day, I saw him/her banned from the Hive. Don't you think that I will be curios to know the reason behind this ban, because this person means something to me, and because I want to continue this friendship, and enjoy it? Am I wrong if I was curios about the case? Am I wrong to address the question "why"?

which is pretty much exactly what happened with your 'code of conduct' pm. i received that myself and had no clue what you were on about, and that shouldn't constitute a 'final warning'.

yet you permabanned KMJ before answering their PM asking why they received the warning in the first place.

and in the process of permabanning, you decided to choose a method that provides nobody with reasons for the ban, keeping it anything but transparent.

so don't be surprised that a shitstorm was created from this. after all, people deserve to know what happens on the hive, even if you don't seem to think so.

why did you close the thread? Wazzz was discussing specific cases, and apply them to be generalized, so that, we hive users feel secure. By the way, what do you think of telling short, brief messages of why one was banned.

your 'warning' was insufficient, especially for a new user like kittymaryjane

that 'thread' which you deemed to be in 'violation of the code of conduct' wasn't actually breaking any rules, none that i nor kittymaryjane could see

you didn't even give a reason as to why these people were banned, a little more 'warning' than a spam pm that is generally ambiguous as to what the person has done is required.

perhaps you didn't read the thread, nor my report (a feature you yourself said i should use) regarding dr super good trolling.

perhaps you ought to punish the right people for a change.
