Samus Aran

Samus Aran, Galaxy renowned Bounty Hunter, enemy of the Space Pirates, and exterminator of metroids.

This model is just a heavily modified version of Metabee's "Samus Version 2" model file. It uses the exact same skin, so credits must go to him if this is used. The model is edited to look more like the modern Samus, and the animations are completly redone.

Paths are simply the model and skin name without the "warcraft3imported" in front.

Update No.2 Reworked the Mesh a great deal, creating a much better face. Body General Body structure and feet are not quite perfect unfortunatley. Texture wrapping remains rather poor due to my lack of knowledge (and tools) in the area. The Mesh animations(?) might have been improved as I have gained a bit more insight into how to assign vertices, but are still far from perfect. Now has a morph ball form, but since I cannot skin, it looks like a glorified wheel. I redid all the animations because of the large mesh changes, for better or worse.

Negative, and I apologize if it is an impermissable infringement. I did check on his activity status and it did not appear that he has not posted for about 4 years...making the prospect of contacting him a bit formidable. If anyone at all has an objection, please feel free to remove this, or if you can tell me how to, I shall eliminate this myself with sincerest apologies.
 
Frank, add "Original skin by: Metabee" and be done with it. This is far too good of a model to waste over forgeting to credit a source. If it gets deleted i may end up reposting it but with PROPER credit, though i dont look forward to the prospect. My thanks in advance to you or any other moderator who makes this happen. Such a good model.

The reason i ask this is that Metabee has been inactive for some time. It is doubtfull he still frequents the site. Better just to throw his name on here so people know and move on, its unlikely permission will be given as Metabee likely doesnt even care anymore or has grown out of the site and forgotten. So long as the name is supplied im sure we can allow the model.
 
Thee feet are messed up, the arm cannon isnt the right color. The animations are WAY to stiff, Samus is not a piece of wood. The only place samus runs like that is in SSB (and their actually looks right, no offense), in all the other metroid games she moves with he gun @ the ready. Either the skin is bad, or the wrap is terrible. Her limbs are way too square, need to be alot rounder. Needs a morph and a morph alternate anim for the morph ball. The arm is terrible (non gun). Samus' helmet is NOT fused to her torso.
 
This is all the major work (I.E animations and intense mesh work) I'll be able to pull for now because my Milkshape trial version has just expired and I'm having a bit of a hard time finding a good importer for Gmax. Of course, if I can get GMax to import models, I can also do texturing in it (yay?), which would help. Otherwise, enjoy the hopefully improved Samus Model.
 
cool model is there anyway u can make me/us a zerosuit samus?
