Map Name: Gem Mine.

Creator: CrustaceanCrusader

Current Stage: Beta.

Summary

Players: Multi. The more the merrier.

Objective: Collect Gems and sell them at the Miners Depot while using a variety of spells and items to hinder your opponents while aiding yourself. The player with the most Gold at the end of the countdown or the first player to reach the target amount of Gold first is the winner. (Depending on the game mode.)

Features

-Two game modes (Timed and Race) with four game lengths each.
-Randomly spawning Artifacts.
-The amount of Gems/Artifacts spawned depends on the number of players.
-A nifty leaderboard. For snooping on everyone else's money.
-9 purchasable items.
-5 Hero spells.
-12 Artifacts.
-A "Stock Market" system to change the value of Gems.

Features to come
-Custom game modes.
-More spells.
-More items.
-More Artifacts. (Maybe.)
-Anything that's suggested and is a good idea.
-"Ultimate" spell system.
-End game cinematic.

Misc.

Estimated completion percentages
Items: 90% (But potentially unending.)
Hero spells: 50%
Terrain: 100%
Triggers: 90%
Artifacts: 100% (But potentially unending.)
Overall: 90% (Maybe?)

A Message from the Creator: It's not 100% complete, but it's close enough. =]

Credits:

MasterCrusaderX - Lots of things
MurderMode - Name change. Ending cinematic idea.

Note

And if you have any other ideas for spells/items/modes/whatever, suggest those too.

Glitchy things
-Confirmed bug with Shiny Thing pass.
The Shiny Thing is passed, but the ability to pass it on is not given to the target.
-Confirmed bug with Sanders Timestone.
Ambient Miners make horrible sounds. (Purely asthetic.)

The idea intrigues me... the thought of collecting gems in competition to become the richest player is cool. You should add a little cinematic at the end, so depending on how much gold the winner has aquired he purchases a different property/building/whatever (just like in the original wario on gameboy, when you finished the game depending on how much money you had accumulated determined what house you recieved).

Also, if you are interested in changing names there was this old Apogee DOS game I used to play as a kid called 'Crystal Caves'. It was like a space mining platform game. The name is so cool I recommend you steal it.

Anyways, I can't host so I haven't played it... but now you have those npc miners I'll give it a shot later tonight

Bumpity.

After a lengthy school-based hiatus, I've managed to scrap together a new version.

Hurrah for me.

New almost everything. And it's in some state of playability. (I think. Triggers haven't been tested with more than one person. But they work in theory. >.<)

Test away! Because testers get credits and all that. =/

Kay. Thanks.
