I wanted to recreate the effect, what you can see when a Welder is Welding.A bit hard to make out what is depicted in the icon imo, perhaps a little more contrast would help
Although it did help to understand when I saw the model, so idk ^^
Whoa, can you please tell me what did you do? You made the Welding mask quite different! I wanted to create something similiar to this. I have an idea what did with the Icon, but I don't exactly know what you done here.I mean, it does look like they're in the process of welding, the light in the glass part and everything, I do think you were able to get that across
I just think that you could add a couple of defining lines or something similar on the edges of different details to make those details more apparent:

Something similar to this maybe ^^

Here I mainly just used a brush and a color picker ^^ In a place where a slightly brighter surface and a slightly darker collide, I picked a brighter color for the brighter surface, and a darker color for the darker surface, and drew 2 lines next to each other, plus minor adjustments so it looks better from afar:Whoa, can you please tell me what did you do? Thank you for the details & help, may I ask you: what kind of programs do you use during your Drawing/Editing? I do not have any tools in GIMP to "Smooth out the darker surface" (or simply another method, that I haven't found yet but it's there all the time as usual)Here I mainly just used a brush and a color picker ^^ In a place where a slightly brighter surface and a slightly darker collide, I picked a brighter color for the brighter surface, and a darker color for the darker surface, and drew 2 lines next to each other, plus minor adjustments so it looks better from afar:
The brush in my case was 1px wide & 100% opacity, not sure if that's how it is in GIMP, but it's not like it needs to be exactly that obviously ^^

Keep in mind that there are most likely better ways to do this, and that you don't always need all the steps, this is just a small example on how I did that version
Well, I use PS, but in this case all I used to "smooth out the surface" was once again just a brush + a color picker ^^ Normally I think tools like Blur would help, but what I did here is picked colors that are "in between" and drew until it looked smooth? Idk how else to explain it better, sorry for thatThank you for the details & help, may I ask you: what kind of programs do you use during your Drawing/Editing? I still experimenting to reproduce this effect that you showed here. Hope I encounter it soon enough.Well, I use PS, but in this case all I used to "smooth out the surface" was once again just a brush + a color picker ^^ Normally I think tools like Blur would help, but what I did here is picked colors that are "in between" and drew until it looked smooth?
