I guess many of you have played 2048 on cellphone. This is a warcraft version.
The original game is played on 4x4 grid. I added two more grid modes, 3x3 and 5x5, and one graphic mode, in which the numbers are substituted with War3 units.
GAMEPLAY:
This game is played on a 4x3, 4×4 or 5x5 grid with tiles of numbers (units) that slide when a player moves them. The player uses mouse to select modes and use powerups, and the arrow keys to move tiles (units) left, right, up, and down. If two tiles of the same number (unit) collide while moving, they will merge into a tile (a unit) with the total value of the two tiles that collided. A new tile (unit) will randomly appear in an empty spot on the board with a value of either 2 (Peasant) or 4 (Footman).
Additionally, a scoreboard on the upper-right keeps track of the player's score. The player's score starts at zero, and is incremented whenever two tiles combine, by the value of the new tile. Consecutively combining the tiles will increase the Combo, which enables the player to get powerups.
The game is won when a tile with a value of 1024, 2048 and 8192 (Medivh, Steam Tank and Gryphon Rider) appears on the board in 4x3 mode, 4x4 mode and 5x5 mode respectively. After reaching the goal, players can continue playing and aim at larger numbers (higher units). When the player has no legal moves (there are no empty spaces and no adjacent tiles with the same value), the game ends.
By the way, the sequence of the units is: Peasant, Footman, Knight, Archer, Rifleman, Mortar Team, Priest, Sorceress, Spell Breaker, Medivh, Steam Tank, Gyrocopter, Gryphon Rider and Dragon Hawk.
