Town Mayor

This bundle is marked as pending. It has not been reviewed by a staff member yet.
This is my entry for Texturing Contest #33, Peaceful NPCs.

He could also pass as some other type of aristocrat or official I guess. In hindsight, I think I was a bit influenced by the Napoleon moving coming out.
The Archmage voice goes well with him (just ignore the horse naying lol).

I could imagine the piece on his back not being to everyone's liking. It isn't too difficult to remove if you edit the actual model directly, and doesn't affect any other part of the model.

There are some minor issues:
-There is a hole in the back of his mace/sceptre which is more or less unavoidable.
-Also, when he attacks he loses his mace, so only really works as a ranged unit (or just a passive npc that doesn't attack).
-There are some parts that are quite stretched, like the front of the scroll, but that's just how the model/wrap is. His eye geometry is also very stretched but I just had to persevere until I got something convincing.

His backpack needs to be replaced, it's too ordinary. To exchange for a luxurious and luxurious backpack. This is the way to match his aristocratic attire.Although this modification won't win an award, at least I think this skin won't have any more flaws.View attachment 457131
Does it make sense for a mayor (or even an aristo etc.) to have a backpack though?

I mentioned it here.

If I really had to change it I'd probably be most likely to change it to a rolled up French Tri-Colour. But now that I think about it, why would an aristo have the flag of the revolution?

Note you can't remove the backpack because it's TC, and you can't remove the stick coming out of it because it's also used in the 'weapon'.

I just don't think this backpack matches the clothes properly. Perhaps it would be better to replace this wooden backpack with an iron one. After all, a nobleman still uses wooden weapons, doesn't it seem a bit out of place?

He's for a contest in which the model is supposed to be Peaceful lol, so he isn't really supposed to have weapons at all.

As I mentioned in the link, the thing on his back is supposed to be this.
