This applies to all of the models in this "set". :p

personally, i love this model. I can think of a million uses for it and it looks really awesome. the filesize is alright 38kb... BUT the model itself has 900verticies and 1200 FACES! HOLY SHIT polyspam... but other than that its awesome. if you can, try to reduce it a bit, if these get approved, make a pack out of them. and I cant wait to see what you make in the future

the way wc3 reads a model is 38kb of "commands" the 38kb tells the game what to do, where to place stuff and how it should be placed. the game has to render 900 verticies and 1200 faces at any 1 time for 1 of that model alone, the filesize it takes to explain something to the game and the filesize(RAM) it take to render and "show" what is described in the model are 2 different numbers. This is the main reason why "particle saturation" is taken into account for models. A particle emitter will have the same filesize of "commands" whether it emitts 200 or 2000 particles, but when rendered, 2000 particles would make the game lag more than if it were to render 200. And because of the nature of this model, as a buff or attachment, it will most likely be used multiple times ingame.

I know im kinda making a big deal about this but in video games, especially for wc3 "every kb counts" to make sure lag is nonexistant. This IS a good model it does look sexy and yes there aren't particle emitters with crazy-ass emission rates.... STILL maybe just a few less hexagons and making them larger hexagons would help, because at the same time, it should fit into the model and unit styling already ingame to be more versatile.
