Hide In The City v0.13a

This bundle is marked as useful / simple. Simplicity is bliss, low effort and/or may contain minor bugs.
Some animals have escaped from the city zoo, and a group of hunters are on their way to the town as they will restore the order. Soon the fate of this city will be decided. Will the two Hunters and their doggy be able to capture the escaped animals, or will the villagers have to abandon their city in ruins.
A tag map there ten Beasts need to survive the evil claws of two Hunters and their dog.
Influences: Island Defense, Vampire, Tree Tag.

The Beasts:
Each Beast player starts out with one very weak Hero that needs to kill harmless villagers to gain experience and level up. As a beast you should avoid any combat with the enemy Hunters, as they greatly outplay your Hero but as the beasts gets a chance to level up they will become strong enough to as a group engage the Hunters and win the game.
The Hunters:
The Hunters are the seekers, meaning that they start with a large dominance over the Beasts, and they need to maintain their advantage by killing the beasts and ending the game as fast as possible, if the Beasts can survive to late-game then they will have an equal footing against the Hunters or even reversed the dominance to the favor of the Beasts.
Hunter’s Doggy:
An important factor in the survival of the Beasts involves a dog, whenever the Hunter’s Doggy gets killed by the Beasts, all captured runners will once again be released, and thus the Hunters will have to keep an eye on the Dog but still move out to kill the Beasts before they manage to earn to much experience.

weirdly rejected >.>
How can u reject SO FAST?

EDIT: nids to be rejected >.> so little villagers, such a small map -.- aint even playable

Alot of areas to improve. (IMPORTANT POINTS HERE)
-Map is too small. 1 hunter can kill 5 beasts in a matter of minutes.
-Too little villagers at start, beasts cant level fast. AND EVEN SO, it doesn't even looks as if it was a town. WHERE GOT TOWN SO EMPTY?
-*IMPORTANT* The dog is too imba already. 800 hp, chaos damage, controllable. How the heck are you going to save your friendly BEASTS? When you play tag games, your allies always die easily at the start of the game, this however, makes the beasts only able to save their allies LATE GAME. All the dead beasts will do this, LEAVE! =.-

So, a overall overview would be this.
- YOU NEED DEFAULT VILLAGERS AT START. DEFINITELY.
- Dog needs to be weaken greatly. (greatly as in 50 hp 10% atk dmg of current)
- Dog should just randomly wander around, very randomly -.-
- Middle regeneration is too powerful, the hunter/dog is as good as invulnerable there.
-Middle regeneration tower should not regenerates the dog hp, or else you forever won't free your beasties -.- either that OR the dog does not enter middle.
- Beasts skills are not bad, but the escape skills are useless, BECAUSE OF A DANG SMALL MAP. MAKE IT BIGGER. 10X BIGGER
- All beasts should have a default escape skill, like for example, BLINK.
- Hunters should mainly be melee type, those which are ranged should have a very nerfed attack damage.

Only when you fix point 1 to 4, and the map size issue, this map is then REALLY PLAYABLE.
Lastly, after fixing all those at the top, The dog should not have a regenerative hp, instead the hunter must buy pots to heal it. Either that or every time the dog levels up, it gains a certain amount of hp. (more balanced)

hmm I personally think the size is fine, but theres not enough villagers for a full house and they spawn in the most radom places, for example in the middle of a fountain where only ranged beasts can get them without using some spell. The dog was easy to kill so long as i kept him away from the regen statue his hp is fine but the damage is ott. Make some item prices a little higher as thats just 1 dog kill and someone hase bonechimes or cloak of flames, healing and mp restore items would be nice as there is no way for the beasts to heal unless they have a life drain spell. One last thing whats with all the purple cubes? They are really offputting.

kevlamin, you probably never played with real players do you? if u actually did, it is not possible for beasts to win. ever.
Ive played a half-full game, 5 beasts, 1 hunter. Took like... 5mins to win for hunters? Half of the time i played was actually running away from the hunter, which was impossible due to the small map and the fail default maze route of the map, causing me unable to hide or outrun the hunter. NEVER.
When vsing AI hunters, the hunters tend to CMI. They like stay at 1 spot for.... very long. End up the dog did all the killing.
PS: u can't kill the dog. It reveals your position and before u can kill the dog, the hunter comes and kill u first.

Btw about the dog being imba, i was kinda wrong. Instead, the beasts from the cages were kinda nerfed up compared to those in the waterhole.

The terrain is just unapproveable.
The game itself is fine.
It could be better in a few ways here and there, but overall gameplay was fine.

The terrain is going to make this map get a rejection from me though.
It just doesn't make sense in some places and doesn't look good in others.
The water all looks pretty bad, and like it needs a smooth tool to it.
The terrain has (in some places) 5-6 completely mismatching tiles on the screen. Woah.
I can't tell if I'm in the city or a jungle or near water?
You used doodads very poorly as well. Some places could use more, some could use less, some could just do without the doodads you have there.

All-In-All this map needs terrain.

Umm it was with real people and so long as nobody feeds the hunters too much beasts win also it's not that hard to escape the hunter. the dog definately shouldnt share vision on a small map. maybe insted have a permanent ping of the dog's location
