Map Info
Empires of War is a micro-heavy strategy oriented empire game where all the players have to fight each other for dominance by being the last one with their town hall standing.



Affinity System
Affinities are the Magic tech tree of the map that splits into 4 different themes for each empire type. However, each player can only have 1 affinity for each empire type, meaning that if they capture another player's workers from another empire type then they can get to pick one of the affinities from it once they build a mage guild with that worker.

Multiple Modes
During the beginning of the game, player 1 aka the host can choose from various modes.
List of Modes:
-Noob: Doubles the starting gold and resources.
-Capture: When a player destroys another player's town hall, that player will gain control of the losing player's units. This can make the game interesting by making it possible to take control of empire type specific or affinity specific structures(however if its not your affinity then you will not be able to make additional ones.) However, Affinities researched from empire types will not affect other empire types if any.
-Domination: Causes players that lost their town halls to lose instantly. This prevents players who lost from being a problem for the other players.
-Haste: Speeds up the income cycles causing it to give players their income twice as fast.
-Slow: Slows down the income cycles causing it to take twice as long to give players their income.
-FFA: Disables allying.
-Standard: Resets the mode settings back to default.

Alliances
During the game, players can form alliances with each other to help defeat other players, however those players will still have to fight each other in the end due to there can only be one player left standing.

Town Hall Placement
At the start of the game you control a wagon which can let you place your only town hall anywhere you can reach with it. This gives a lot of freedom with choosing where to base.





Necromancers Can no longer auto-cast Raise Dead.
Barracks, Mage Guilds, Sawmill, and Town Halls now have efficient Hotkey layouts.
Some Tool-tip Adjustments.
Mild Terrain Tweaking.

Gameplay
I would suggest adding more races. Only having two choices doesn't leave a lot of room for replayability, and might make the game borig fast.

I feel like this game is basically a melee map were you can choose were to place you base, and with an alternate income system.

This map needs a few new ideas. As it is now, I didn't find it very fun to play.

Aesthetics
The map description is looking good. Short introduction on what the map is about, some features and a credits list and a changelog. The only thing it is missing is screenshots. These are all the parts that is needed in a description. You can however improve it further, make it look more appealing and making more players want to try it out.

Text messages in game could use some colour. They are pretty dull at this moment, which also causes them to be more uncomfortable to read.

Terrain isn't very good. Only blizzard cliffs, poor tile variation and very few decorations in terms of doodads. The environment consists of trees mainly, and doesn't look very alive or appealing in general. This needs improvement in order to get this map approved.

Bugs
-The houses doesn't have to be finished in order to provide gold income.
-The income isn't constant. I had 15 houses and only got 90 gold once. Then I got like 120. You need to clarify what is hapening or fix this bug.

Summary
This map needs improvement in many fields and con therefore not be approved yet. Also, a few bugs was found early in the game which also needs resolving.

Status set to Awaiting Update.
