After a short discussion between me an General Frank, we agreed that the texture was crappy and I replaced it.
Update: There was another discussion between General Frank and me which ended with this model being released prematurely. But the comments have shown me how foolish it was to think that a Staff Member could be wrong. The General was of course right, the model needed animations, which I have now added together with particles, a camera and a death sound.
Update2: Fixed a small issue with double used frames

General Frank:
The resolution of the applied texture is very low and there are some polygons that could be deleted.

General Frank:
The chosen texture is really nice.
Works ingame.
Approved
it will be much cooler if it has a death anim, but then again it is your choice
and pretty clever idea on using the aviary texture. good deserves a 5/5 for its usefulness
Anyways, this is really good, but my only complaint is the lack of a death animation (otherwise its completely useless as a unit). That being said, I would be happy with the death animation being the human death animation (where wood bits fly around and such). Otherwise 4/5.
If you could add atleast a stand hit and a death animation too it it would be an easy 5/5 for me. It could use a row of spikes sticking outwards too, but thats just me.
As it stands a 3/5, but a death animation at the very least would be nice.
Strange nobody have been thinking about this kind of idea before realy.
This does look very good!
But maybe abit too clean perhaps? let's say you put this barricades up... they wont still shiny and "new" for much time so i'd try make them more "rough".
Good Idea, nice work.

Well, it's the texture that is so clean. I would have to reskin it to make it dirty, and that would be a lot too difficult since I then would have to remake almost everything.
Well, since more than half of the commentors asked, here is the Update with the animations
