World of Warcraft: Battle of Azeroth is another World of Warcraft total conversion project of mine, it is an experimental mix between ORPG + Hero Arena with class change feature. Play as Human Alliance or Orcish Horde. Join the fiercing fight between the iconic two faction from World of Warcraft!
A project dedicated to those who want to kick Garrosh in the butt.

Your goal is to defeat 3 faction leaders of opposing side in order to win the game.

You start the game as either basic melee or spell caster class that available: Warrior and Scholar for Human Alliance or Barbarian and Magi for Orcish Horde, and can change further into Advance Class when you reach level 15. Here is the current class change line and model preview. Classes concepts might be change as the update progressing by.

All materials has re-created, poly reduced, geomerged and edited by myself for the project usage purpose and finest size.

[​IMG] A Fantasy-Themed, Detailed Terrain
Featuring Stormwind and Orgrimmar as 2 great faction stronghold - With Elwynn Forest and Durotar as both faction respective leveling zone.

[​IMG] Limited and Upgradeable Items
Like in RPG element, Player can only carry 1 type of equipment, all items are upgradeable up to level 5 by Ore which you can bought on blacksmith! Backpack feature is also available on the map incase you're out of inventory.

Be a heavy damage dealer like Orc Berserker, or a caster with cursing magic like Orc Warlock! Total of 16 (8 for Alliance and 8 for Horde) Advance Class variety of specializations which you can access when you reach level 15.

A fancy weapon and shield attachments from WoW itself to enchant your looks - with lowpoly revised for smaller size.

Communicate with NPC for blab, game info and some trivia about some iconic names from Human Alliance and Orcish Horde faction. Some notable names from both faction are coming as cameos as well. Some NPCs are also providing quests to helping you level up faster.

The terrain featuring Stormwind City with Elwynn Forest as leveling sector for Alliance, and Orgrimmar (made Orgrimmar City Concept into "machinery looks" sort-of for certain reasons) with Durotar as leveling sector for Orcish Horde.     For those who can't reach out the most epic role playing game known as 'World of Warcraft', I can say this is one of those modded games that can give you a small background and visuals of the said RPG.

    The game build is amazing, the way on grinding your hero into a powerful being is nearly similar to the original, as well on the characters presented as controllable heroes or NPC. The Spells are decent, I do not have any problem going on in interacting against my enemies on the map as well on skill use. Quest aside, hunting monsters across the field is quite an enjoyable time.

    On the work of the terrain, the technique used for making hills as mountain-structures and wide spaces gives in a perfect ground spot for the RPG theme, although I somehow notice the Horde's region where floating rocks are presented, it would be nice if you can dish a smoke SFX or any pose-able graphic that could reveal the floating rocks as 'floating'. Then again the making of the world is marvelous.

    Overall, this map is seriously set and recommended for those who would like to journey on RPG alone or in CO-OP, especially when you're on the edge of taking out a boss, that is where you hard work will be tested.

    The terrain seems improved. How small is the size of the tiles (in pixels)? How did you fit it all in 4MB?

    Looks very neat and very enticing to play I just hope that its not as slow(combat gameplay wise) as your WOW ORPG cause that will be a total downer.

    Standard one, 256x256. But I've compressed them around 60% instead of using in full quality, so their size is around 40-80kb depending on the texture.

    Massive reduction method; Poly reduction for model meshes, keyframes reduction on animations, texture quality compression, as for sound reduction I've cut unneccessary part on sound via adobe audition and compress it into 64kbps so the sound isn't that broken.

    Yep, cooldowns basically are much quicker on this one as this is using sort-of "hero arena" style. 3 seconds cds for basic spell caster and 5-7 for melee damager on Q ability.

    Yep, this what makes it kinda orpg-like, because it has alot of creeps (not mobs) too for leveling purpose.

    Very cool concept and play style Andreariona, very well done! Unfortunately I can't try this MP atm, but I will as soon as I can!

    Pros:

    I love how different this is from your other project, I full well expected this to be another loadable version from that. I loved how finished everything looks and the ease of seeing everything. The class concept is also a great idea, it brings life and a twist to a hero arena.

    The only con I can think of atm is how long this game might take with all the grinding. But I didn't get to try this out with other players so I can not comment on it.

    Keep up the great work, you truly have creativity to enlighten us with.
