Would this icon be worth posting?

HI everyone, i tryed to create a nice icon with photoshop and here's what i got:
Do you think it's worth posting? Please tell me if it is, or if it's not tell me what i can improve please

It doesn't look like a blizzard icon at all, it's to smooth, the glow ends to fast, it has no meteor texture at all (if that's what it is, cuz i have no idea)

Okay, im gonna edit the glow and make the texture more realistic.

Don't forget to make a BTN, DISBTN and other possible icons of with with the along coming layers (like the border).

I think it is realy nice, but the white light thing in the top corner was a bit unnessecary if you ask me, because it is ment to be an icon of a meteor not some meteor with bright stars around it , but you do as you like.

its just a tip.
