When importing a custom icon for use as an item, I imported the BTN and the DISBTN for the icon. However, when looking at the item in the item editor or the item placement palette it displays either a blank icon or a ?doodad icon. Is there an icon import path that allows these blank icons to have the representative custom icon of the item? Also of note is that the icons are in .BLP format.

The BTN/DISBTN's should be imported under these paths respectively:

ReplaceableTextures\CommandButtons\BTNNameOfIcon.blp
ReplaceableTextures\CommandButtonsDisabled\DISBTNNameOfIcon.blp

(replace NameOfIcon with the name of your icon). Save the map. Then assign them to whatever objects you want. If it appears blank, you should try saving, closing, and then reopening.

Thank you very much for your help, restarting the editor allowed the items to display properly in the menus! +rep
