Wouldn't Valid or Invalid also be relatively subjective, much like Right and Wrong?
I consider an act valid regardless of it's ethical consequences. An act can be wrong, according to my idea of ethics, and right, according to an other idea of ethics, but for me, it is nevertheless valid if the one that caused it acted consciously. Yes, the Holocaust was valid if Hitler believed it was right, by that logic.
