Wolves of Winter

For thousands of years, the arctic wolves roamed the freezing tundras as beasts. As feral hunters of the night they naturally caught the attention of greater forces. As time went on, many of the wolves would unknowingly develop a spiritual link to the Realm of Crystalline Nightfall, a land far beyond the primitive nature of physical beings. Certain wolves developed such a strong connection that they were able to communicate with one of the beings that made it's home there. This creature would come to be known by the wolves as The Iceborn Deity. The wolves capable of communicating with the Deity would be known amongst the packs as Iceborn. The Iceborn are thought to be blessed by the Deity itself , as they are capable of harnessing the frozen elements, much like much like the Iceborn Deity would. The words spoken by the Deity to the Iceborn are shared amongst the pack, spreading from wolf to wolf like wildfire. It was with their cunning instincts and combined devotion that they would deliver themselves from savagery- becoming a feared alliance known by to all who would face them as the Wolves of Winter.

Approved in accordance with Techtree Contest #16 Results
The Wolves of Winter could bare some improvements, but are executed effectively enough to be set to the Approved status. They're a lot of fun to play as a more traditional custom faction. While I feel the author could certainly improve upon their work in future, I feel this entry is done adequately enough to be approved. Well done
