teh foreground is H2O and rocks
i agree about the green trees
what do yo suggest with the sky? i think it fits well and giefs that apocalyptic feeling :D

you forgot this is a terrain made by the magicz and from another world

The castle is surely nice, but I think you could still work on some unsightly parts, raid.
I´m too lazy to list up everything so I hope the small black arrows and circles on the following picture are adequate enough:

those columns you pointed out on the "main headquarters" of the castle are not even because there is like a grove in the wall, the wall is not strait, so it appears to look like that, the multiple red things on the walls are upside down roofs that the color messed them up a bit
