Witchwood is meant to be a very defensive map, allowing players to heavily fortify their bases. Personally, I prefer maps with certain, clever defensive and offensive methods.
You can't have both melee and altered melee tags. You should stick to Altered melee, thinking of the map features.

Interesting design. The creeps camps guarding the marketplaces are quite strong and should have higher level drops.
Some of the items that the creeps around Mercenary Camps drop are fine, while some, like Ice Shard, are overpowered (stick with the items of the same or similar level).
The last problem is the lack of trees, especially in the main bases. You can easily solve this by expanding the map a little, or by relocating the taverns to leave room for more trees.
