So I recently started terraining again, but I have no idea what to do with this WIP. Suggestions please!

so did you use the import that makes everything black and used light emitters?
make moria wtf

Nope, I used backwards fog.

@Megafyr: Well I wanted to try something other than the usual head-on camera angle.

Now, does anyone have any suggestions? That's why I posted this thread, this is only a WIP!

EDIT: I tried to make a dragon, but it didn't really fit the atmosphere.

You can make a real darkness without a fog... Import attached files, make them custom paths as below, set custom lightning as Ashenvale, reload WE... Result!

Environment\DNC\DNCAshenvale\DNCAshenValeTerrain\DNCAshenValeTerrain.mdx
Environment\DNC\DNCAshenvale\DNCAshenValeUnit\DNCAshenValeUnit.mdx

Looks like this (that's from upcoming campaign we make on XGM)

P.S. Ah, and set fog as something 40000-40001 black. Otherwise there's a little "standart fog" issue.

Iam missing a torch or two on the walls.
After all it seems like the cavern is visited from the light coming from the other room.

Else not much to say it doesnt show alot of things, maybe add a rat or something.

Haha, I know that, I've been doing that with a pitch black setting for ages now. It makes some pretty cool effects. I just like the "negative" fog better for this setting.

Naww, that's the sun, this is the entrance to the cavern. If you look closely, the ground starts to spiral upwards after the doorway thing. Anyways, rats are a little... I dunno... not awesome enough :P I need something EPIC like a dragon, but I tried a dragon and it didn't fit, so that's kinda why I'm posting this thread :P

well, when i look at this doorway, i imagine a cavern ending with a dark endless tunel, leading somewhere into the depths...
maybe some skellies and, perhaps, a pack of bats would be nice =))
also some eerie feeling. As whole it could be a passage to some underdark-ish place. or to a lair of some 'old god'-like creature

btw, a dark pond would fit that cavern imho

Why not something way more simple, use the sunlight from the angle youre looking at, and the actual door is in the shadows?
Then you add a small/big shadow on the wall infront (something big is there XD )

And finally add the skeleton

That would be impossible to do unless I had a custom model which I don't feel like requesting right now :P

lol, leave the cave as it is...

How do you do that negative fog thing ? i cant do it for some reason ...

lmao and since when do you like high resolution models ??? =p

last time i remember, u hated high resolution models ... heheh

jk GJ man, id give u rep, but i cant =/
