Is this your desktop or laptop? If its the desktop it might be related to why your lego harry potter is not running.

Anyway, try turning the "Media Features" feature on and off. In windows 7 you can do this under Program and Features in the Turn Windows features on or off window. I hope Vista has something simlar to this.

If that still does not work, try searching MS if they provide some form of Media Centre component distributable which you can use to install / repair it. Searching the crash error message might reveal someone else in your situation and often gives nice solutions as well (like some systems may been a patch to run it properly).

Did you try any of them? A lot of troubleshooting in Vista is similar to Windows 7, if not identical.

You are using Home Premium or Ultimate? Just because you found a link to it does not mean your OS version supports it.

Have you tried reinstalling the Microsoft .NET framework? CLR20r3 appears to be a .NET framework error. You can uninstall .NET framework via the Program and Features section in the Control Pannel. Unstill all instances of it and then get .NET framework 4 from the Windows Update system.

So you uninstalled all .net frameworks and then only installed .net framework 4? Otherwise it might be the .net framework has a curropted installation.

I am sure there must be some way to unistall media centre and then reinstall it. Most errors with it seem to get fixed this way.
