Remember when importing a model with a texture, be sure to import the texture along with it with the correct pathname

when importing a texture into the world editor, the world editor automatically assigns a name to the texture as "wc3imported/ (filename)" for example (the model texture in question) would show up as "wc3imported/Drone1small" or "wc3imported/Death" all you need to do is, after you import it, right click on the texture in the import manager in the world editor, and "edit the pathname" then just delete the part that says "wc3imported/" and it should work fine. if you have any more questions feel free to ask

That has no effect if the model does not work ingame..

Not necessarily, when first imported into a map, the model will only show up as a checkered green and black box IN THE EDITOR, but if you open and close or "refresh" the editor, the next time you look at it IN THE EDITOR it will show up fine, manstie did have a point, but it did not necessarily pertain to this particular problem
