Why won't this trigger work?

I have a trigger that is supposed to advance the upgrade level of this undead upgrade (unholy armor) by 1 every time he researches a human upgrade, but it doesn't seem to be working at all, can anyone see why?

• Risen Tech Constant US
  • Events
    • Unit - A unit owned by Player 10 (Light Blue) Finishes an upgrade
  • Conditions
    • (Researched tech-type) Equal to (==) Iron Swords [|cfffae805Level 1/6|r]
  • Actions
    • Set UnholyStrengthLev = (Current research level of Unholy Strength [|cfffae805Level 1/6|r] for Player 10 (Light Blue))
    • Player - Set the current research level of Unholy Strength [|cfffae805Level 1/6|r] to (UnholyStrengthLev + 1) for Player 10 (Light Blue)

Maybe it works with the event finishes a research :/ ?

I don't what can be a solution otherwise :/

Try to Change event to

• Unit - A unit owned by Player 10 (Light Blue) Finishes a Research

Otherwise it won't work .

Yeah it increases the chance of the idea's validity

Upgrades = Unit -> Unit conversion such as Scout Tower -> Guard Tower
Research = Unit researching technology such as a Blacksmith researching improved range weapons.

The condition never evaluates true as "Researched tech-type" returns 0.

Next time try debug messages to see if the trigger actually runs. If it doesn't, it can only be the events and/or the conditions. If it runs however it doesn't do what you want it to, debug even more.
