I've been working on a map for a bit, and I just realized I forgot to add player slots in. So, I opened the player settings section to do so, but my world editor froze and I had to ctrl+alt+delete to end it.

Does anyone know what could cause this? I tried it 4-5 times, same result.

I will send it to you via PM, purgeandfire. Thanks.

I have hardly any objects and levels right now.

I only have 3 imports: FullScreen.blp, LoadingScreen.mdx, and war3mapPreview.tga

It seems it was something wrong with the upgrades. If you click the object editor and view the "Upgrades" tab, and try to click on the upgrades, it will freeze the editor.

I assume it froze when you tried to click "Scenario -> Player Settings", because that window also has a tab for "Upgrade Settings" (so it was trying to load the upgrades, but it failed). Something strange must've happened that caused them to become corrupted or malformed.

Anyway, deleting the w3q (upgrades) file from the map appeared to fix it. So I did that and sent you the map. If you get the same issue after recreating the upgrades, I strongly recommend reinstalling Warcraft III.

Good luck on your map! :)
