So, i don't ( Yet ) Have much to say about this RPG, but It's going to be Singleplayer rpg with normal Circle of power herochoosing system, I have ideas for heroes, But id like to hear you're Ideas for not-so-original RPG, Because im not very creative when poiting out for special maps. So i made this thread because this RPG currently has Zer0 % Of features ( Not including the hero select and custom-made skills and custom models ( Mostly from the Hive )). So drop you're ideas here if anyone wants to help with this project, i don't really think i need terrainer / scripter / modeler etc, i can go through of those by myself, but you guys can help me with creative ideas! ;) - Cake.

Hmm, Well. About spells, models, races, Those are already done and worked out. Races are Holy, Holy's heroes; The Lightbringer - Spellcaster that uses various healing skills, and holy magic. The Nova, Heavy melee unit with many passive skills to reach out the peaks of melee fighting. The Harmon-Bringer, This one is kinda like opposite of Necromancer, He can raise dead units with autocasting spell, but instead of undead, the raised units are Holy Warriors. Second Race is The Elemental Realm, The Elemental Realm's Heroes; The Earth - This tough skinned elemental is superior tank that can call forth furious strike of earth upon enemies. The Lighting - This Agilitybased melee unit can buff himself with eletrical strifes that will increase he's fast melee attacks to upper level. The Fire, - Strong spellcaster, can bring armageddon upon enemies and burn enemies flesh with he's burning shield. The Frost - Medium melee unit that has attacks with frost effect; Decreases movement speed, also, he can freeze enemy units for short period. There are also two races; The Unholy Altar, Chaos Temple, But i will include more about heroes later, I need ideas for the basic gameplay like is there going to be like creeparena where you fight agaisnt masses of creeps to gain gold and you can quit whenever you want and so on. But i need more ideas from you guys!

Bleh, My point weren't actual ingame spells, I need ideas for features that are used ingame. Creeping, Leveling, Dueling, Etc systems, i need ideas for specified features, Not skills nor models.

Oh. :)

In SP RPG you should make more than 1 map, and interior maps ( so you can enter each building ) . Also, make save/load code and add PvP and dungeon maps for MP.

Um that is called a campaign and is 1 player only lol. If you want to make this 1 player then that would somonewhat void the idea of PvP you just stated. A bit contradicting?

Mirror World Duel/Tournament:

This is a basically a normal Arena however once your enter each heros turns unholy or changes into his opposite element.

This will change the types of abilities the Heros have

Damaging spell will turn into healing, Debuffs into Blessings, Summons will also turn into Blessings. While Blessing turn into either summon or debuffs.

This will give the map something new you can see after having it played for a longer duration.

a would also like a terrain change lets say once the endboss appears blight starting to be created from his castle/lair/whatever and slowly taking over the whole map (this would change nothing except the look of the map.

To your items i always liked maps where you could easy see the quality of a item (common,uncommon.rare and so on) As well seeing item sets.

I also prefer an equipment system just 6 slots aren't enough for me.

Spells and Abilities should directly scale with the hero stats. The more Int a hero has the more damage he dose with spells.

Also i would like to see the starting town under a constant attack. The town (in which every building should be destroyable) Will then automatically respond to these attack be sending a strong counter force and upgrade it's defense. However the heros should be needed for the town to finally survive and make a successful counter attack. But don't make it like an AoS where a small group is sended. Their should be big armies that attack now and then.

Interesting... I would have never come up with those myself. I think im going to bring this project back up with you're ideas, and at later part look for some more people to help with this project. So should i make this Orpg instead of singleplayer? Buuut, Those ideas really bump'd me to open the world editor again. More ideas, Please!

ORPG stands for open role playing game. You can have a singleplayer orpg so your comment just made no sense.

You don't know what your talking about.
An open RPG is like world of warcraft or oblivion. There isnt an incredibly strict quest you have to follow to continue the game. The definition of an ORPG has nothing to do with multiple players.

I don't get why you are saying this maybe he choose the wrong words for his question but it is clear he wants to know if he wants to make it a single player or multiplayer map.

I thing you should do a multiplayer map.

I know that, but i should have thinked more carefully. I were talking about *Online = Orpg. Didn't come up to my mind that there were Open * Shortcut too for O.
