where to get/buy D3 modeling stuff for mac?

i doubt it as the downloadable files is in the exe. format and there are no exe-extractor program for mac.

Quite a steep learning curve, and if you're planning to do Warcraft 3 models with it, you may have to use some windows programs :S

However, if its unrelated to Warcraft, you should be fine.

im having some problems with thewindows programs i wish to use, you see, most of them come compressed in exe. files.
and i dont know any fully functionary exe-converter for mac...

I've never got that to work, I downloaded the PPC version (I don't have an intel mac), but it never does anything

You need to have X11 installed. More specifically, I think you need the X11 from Mac os 10.4 Tiger installed, rather than 10.5 Leopard. Leopard uses a new version of X11 which is moderately broken, and does all sorts of annoying things. Since I have Leopard, I can't (yet) run Darwine. Fortunately (and also unfortunately for other reasons) I have an Intel mac, so I can just Dualboot into Windows, however for you, I'm not sure what to do. If you are running Tiger and not Leopard, make sure you have X11 installed.

well there is always VMVARE
