What made you to start playing WoW?

Just want to know about reasons you got interested in it or started playing it.

I wasn't too interested the first time than it was Ahn'Qiraj. I felt like I have to try that raid (yeah, you can tell that I'm a little bit insane )

well i liked both wc3 and wc2 and then wow came out and my dad started playing it and i joined him

its just fun man fun game i dont play it right now but the reason i ever did is because its a well made and blizzard updates it regularly

Well all my friend play wow. And then I have started. Omfg it's so hard to move your ass from pc whenu play wow. I have ruined my marks because of wow. Finaly after half year I have stoped playing wow at least to the end of school year. Anyway it's cool game actualy too good

My whole family started playing WoW in 2005, then my uncle decided to get 2 accounts and give me his other account (while letting him still pay the monthly subscription)

I would be playing it if I had more time and it didn't cost 15 bucks a month. It's a really good game, just takes too much time and effort to get to a place where you can have loads of fun; private servers are good for this but they lack the stability, balance and population that retail servers have.

The trial CD came on the back og a magazine and I'm not not going to try a game that looks cool.

Some of my friends were playing on a private server I however wanted to play leagal so I baught the game started up playing a Sin'dorei and I have played the game ever since.

It was a "continuation" of warcraft. Hence the reason I tried it. Played between TBC and WOTLK and stopped at the later patches of WOTLK as they ruined the game, and I grew up. (had no longer any time for a game like that/does not spend that much time playing these days)
