What is the deal with JNGP?

What exactly is the deal with JNGP? is it meant to work with warcraft v1.24c or is it too out of date now? Its pretty annoying because every decent system i see that i could use in my map seems to be in vJASS...

Try downloading JNGPS it is updated to work for 1.24 patch...

Well, why don't you simply download it from the official website?
JassHelper is a component that comes with JASSNewGenPack and has to be updated manually. On the thread I linked to, search all posts made by Earth-Fury. I'm sure he posted the steps to do this.

What you do:

If you are in JNG editor; exit it then:
-Get the latest JASSHelper.
-Replace the old one with the new one.
-Open JNG editor up and it should work.

I cant make it work too. I have experienced that some computers just cant deal with it.

Actually Rui, Vexorian was nice enough to tell you how to update JassHelper for JNGP on his JassHelper Tool thread. It's at the bottom of his first post under Just in case.
