What I really need is a Sound Generating program......

I have sound editing Programs, good ones too, but no generator and I cant get Vista to record
Anyone got a Free (or cheap) sound generator to Download?

Something that lets you edit sounds clips (that lets you change the pitch, add echo, silences ...)

lol, that is one of the ones I have m8 but ty anyway.
What I want is something that creates sounds (or/and music) from scratch like that sibelius or whatever it is called but not that advanced and free.

I think Generator of FlexiMusic is one of the best tools out there for generating sounds...it's user-friendly and formatted for the very purpose of generating sounds. Check it out.

If I might suggest, Psycle, google it, and download plugins for it, its an amazing program.

And using audacity's wave out record function, you can record your music directly as you play it.

i got 1 but i cant remember the cost

its pretty cool you can generate and its packed with stuff
but its a bit hard to get used to...
