Ok when it comes to moving objects in an interval a lot of people have some thoughts about that.

What do you think is best? Interval? FPS? or prefixed motion loops?

I think FPS is the way to go.
Why? Well it is because if you use interval and you have a constant for speed, it will mess up if you change the interval. If you use FPS the speed is always the same, no matter the FPS

Intervals. I don't see what the difference between interval and FPS really is.

You set the speed of the object according to whatever interval you've chosen. That's the best way to do it. For example, if you want something to move at a rate of 1000 per second, how do you do that for half a second? Simple! Divide the speed in half.

0.5/1 = 0.5
1000*0.5 = 500

Instant scaling.

Besides, you don't really need to change the interval. 0.03 is about as fast as you can go without the human eye noticing the difference.
