The whole site will run better, not that it's bad right now, but just imagine how smooth it'll be on the new server

haha, well, i'm sure it'd be possible, but i wouldn't try it. there will be stress enough on the server as it is (i imagine) from them transferring everything to the new one. it's cool how they can transfer everytying whilst you are using the site though.

well I think it will take like 20 minutes for them to transfer everything and maybe the database will not be the database right NOW but one a few minutes old which means that files and posts added in the 20 minutes could be lost.. but just go post and save a tutorial if you write that.. save it in a txt file..

thats what I'd imagine that it'd be, they said there would be no down time, so I wouldn't be surprised if you could post while they transfer it, but if not it isn't the end of the world, you just lose a few posts.

not bad at all, we lost a few posts, as nemesis pointed out, but other then that i've noticed faster page load times and the like which is awesome
