Hey there,
I have a Question: Is there annother way (An alternative) to "Weld" 2 Vertices into each Other, without having problems with the Unwrap?
This is a Model I have made:

In the Bottom Picture, the Texture is quite misplaced around the Neck. I used "Weld" to attach the Neck to the Body.
I hope someone can Help me here :)

Actually, you could have uv-mapped the textures before welding the verts. Then, if you weld them the uv-mapping would stay as it is or nearly as it is.

that's false Herr frank. Weld unifies 2 vertices and makes them one, so it's unwrap also unifyies, there wouldn't be a problem if the unwrap vertexes would be near or in the same place, but as I imagine it; they are separated, so unifying them would cause the unwrap to distort.

Hmm strange but on my King Arthas model I was actually able to do this technique (change uv before welding them...)
