Anyone got any clue on how to do the sound part without triggers or jass?
I had the idea of removing the unit's attack sound and making a passive item ability with 100% chance to trigger that fired a sound (with the "Sound - Effect Sound" in the object editor). So if you have two different items, they will have two different passive item abilities with two different sounds solving the problem.
However when I tried it out, the passive never ever triggers that sound. I made the passive ability trigger an effect on the unit it was used on, and that effect had a sound in its field, still no sound ever triggered and I never saw the Effect being triggered. Buffs weren't being triggered either. Am I doing something wrong or is this just how passive abilities work?
