Gday everyone, I went to go on wc3sear.ch one day so I went to log in and when i hit log in I got this error.

So I cleared my cookies and went back and the site worked until I click a link of any sort. Any ideas why?

It happens now and then with just about ever phpBB site I've ever traversed, including the Hive back when it ran it. I'm not sure what cuases it, but due to its frequency I think its unavoidable.

Whats about merging? Ralle said on Wc3search News that he has downloaded whole server (7 Gigs) and that he is gonna set all up on hive... but nothing happend... Last thing i know is that he said something about wrong quota limit... and now firefox doesnt recognize server. He said it's changed to hiveworkshop.wc3sear.ch(or com) or somethin... Will try out everything

BTW Darky seems dead.

he did nothing, and he doesnt even write comments...

Darky has not been on wc3sear.ch for at least a year.

Darky has not been active on search, or any other wc3 site for that matter since sometime late 2004. He only returns to make announcements once every 3-4 months.

This is kind of sad, watching the collapse of a really good resources wc3 site. I think the admin should always be active in the site they are running, after all it is theirs, regardless of how many other admins and mods there are, its ultimately your responsibility to keep it going right.

Wc3search has been crappy for ages, especially the forums are filled with mindless spam. The only thing that kept the site going as a good site was the huge ressource and map database which half of it got lost when anvil collapsed the second time and now everything is down (untill ralle gets it up again).

What would happen if archain was like darky? Than this site would be as crappy as search... is it possible to attach yourself to FTP on wc3sear?

Nah if Ralle was like Darky, Ralle is the owner here. And if that were the case, and Ralle was like Darky, well it would have collapsed a long time ago, as back before I joined Bob was the only other Admin and as much as a revere Bob's abilties, I don't think he could have kept it running himself. The resource section on Wc3sear.ch was amazing though, and that was the only reason I visted the place anyway.

It looks like that code could originally have been an injection exploit for a phpBB security flaw.

Darkys php scripts are so damn bad so they can not run on my server. So I transferred ALL maps to my server and made hotlinking.. however the quota is still used which is weird.. So I am atm talking to the support team
