Version 1.02 (First Non Beta Version)
This map is a 3v3 Alternate Melee map in the area of Azeroth (Stormwind).
Horde Army units:
Grunt (tier 1)
Troll Axe Thrower (tier 1)
Raider (tier 1)
Ogre (tier 2)
Warlock (tier 2)
Necrolyte (tier 3)
Ogre Magi (tier 4)
Horde Heroes:
Blackhand
Gul'dan
Zul'jin
Human Army units:
Footmen (tier 1)
Elven Archer (tier 1)
Captain (tier 2)
Knight (tier 2)
Cleric (tier 2)
Conjurer (tier 3)
Paladin (tier 4)
Alliance heroes:
Lothar
Khadgar
Alleria
Neutral Accessible units: Catapult
Every unit has like in wc1 and wc2 a counterpart.
I decided for fun and gameplay to add wc2 units into the game so its a bit of a mix.
You are probably thinking why should I play this map idk much about it.
Ill be happy to explain features I have been implementing:
Unit XP system
After 3 kills a unit upgrades its' stats whether it has mana or not.
Casters upgrade: Mana Reg, Armor and Max Mana
Non casters upgrade: Armor, Damage and Max Health.
Food system
As humans you get food overtime by the amount of farms you control on the map, you will have to defend them because the orcs will be raiding them.
Orcs gain food by raiding farms to build their forces.
Food will be decreased whenever you create a unit so its vital to protect/raid those farms, they aren't constructible
Unique Unit Construction
The humans have the same old techtree/build system as found in wc3.
The orcs however have to order their units from the dark portal. Every 120 seconds the orcs will send new supplies to the front lines together with the troops the orc player ordered at his main base.
Unlike the allies orcs have only one building and now techtree. They upgrade their basecamp (greathall) to unlock new abilities and units, but ofc the cost of this upgrade is HUGE.
Unique Income system:
Unlike other maps where u recapture points or get gold by creating farms, this is a limited resource gather map.
As i previously mentioned, lose a farm or goldmine or lumbermil as alliance, you lost it forever and so is your income.
The orcs on the other hand will get supplies over time with no requirements attached, still it doesnt match the human income rate, so orcs will get money by pillaging buildings (attacking them).
As all cities have destructible towers, houses etc with each an own pillage value it will give the orcs a boost whenever they sack a city.
They will also get bonus gold if they sack a gold mine from the humans.
Masteries:
At the start of the game, you can chose one mastery that only affects your units.
Offensive (increases the damage of all units with 5)
Defensive (increases the armor of all units with 1.5)
Magic (increases the mana regen per second with 1 for all units)
90% of the maps models/icons is imported, so no old boring wc3 units/icons but rather "fresh" units.
I tried to create a lot of unique abilities for units as you probably got bored of the old grunt beserk bullshit.
An example of 3 unique abilities (through triggers)
-Bloodthirst (grunt) When ever a grunt kills a unit, it will get a +10 attack bonus frenzy for 15 seconds
-Blood Ritual (Necrolyte) Heals nearby units for 10 health at the cost of 30 own health.
-Life ward (Cleric) When ever a unit is attack with lifeward on, he will heal 4 life points of the damage taken.
The units in the map are limited for the moment, but I will add more soon people start getting interested in this map.
It will promise a lot of tactical fun and epic battles even with 7 units for each race.
Notice!!
The alliance has the underdog position at the start, but excels at end game.
While the horde is the topgun at the start, but slows down end game.
It can go both ways!
Please comment and give feedback, especially feedback explaining what could be better.
I like hearing opinions so feel free, if you have a good idea ill credit it for you.

Dude! Please redo your description, its not right. if you do. use these BB Codes for all of us to understand what you done with your map, tell us about the game, features, screenshots, systems, and credits, and explain why it was made by a different person instead of you? thank you and happy-map making.
I didn't play around with the Orcs & Humans game, but still Warcraft II is a awesome game beyond its day, and thanks for making this, and I'll be sure to tell you what I think of it, when I get the chance alright?

Hmm, I find this map sort of interesting. First of all, because of the name and I tend to like Altered Melee maps, I actually have made some of my own.
So, I'll be back with a small review in a minute... Stay tuned!
Oh and also, you might not get this map approved since the map creator and map uploader names are different. You must explain why that is.
EDIT:
OK, I usually give bigger and better formatted reviews, but I'm a little pressed for time, though I still feel the need to take an interest in your map. Good things about your map:
You give a decent description at the beginning about what you should be doing. Pillaging Human farms and such to earn gold. That's good.
I absolutely, 100%, just love those awesome models you used in this map.
Somewhat resembles a sort of Warcraft II gameplay in a Warcraft III environment, which I'm assuming was your overall goal in making this map.
Most units seem to have some kind of extra ability, even the grunt. Also good, since this will improve the gameplay of your map.
Bad things about your map:
The pathing with some of the objects on your map is a little bad. For instance, I could take a Grunt and walk right through part of the Human Castle Towers (in Player 5's Base).
One or more bridges are too high up in the air. When I crossed the bridge that goes to Player 5's base, I could see my units were going up when they got on it. This means that there is space between bridge and the land. Well anyway, since I think you will understand this a little bit better, I'll just show you a screenie instead. Refer to WC3ScrnShot_032211_170323_01.tga attached to this post.
Overall:
Overall, I think this is a pretty good map. Only suggestions I have is to fix the pathing on some of those buildings that may be messed up (like the Castle Towers, as I already mentioned) and fix those bridges. Personally, just to give you a little sidenote, I think this is a good map, once you get the hang of it. It seems that once I started it, it wasn't all that good, but I hung with it a little while, and I realized it was not bad. I'd give it a 4/5. Nice work! Well, that is if you created this map.
Keep in mind that when I tested this map, I was playing alone, with no other human players in the game besides myself.
Hmm, well what do ya know, I had more time than I thought. Well anyways, there it is. I hope you find it constructively helpful.

Pietje was given permission by myself to use the terrain from the map for this. If you have any questions about the validity of this, can either post here or contact me at [email protected].
K I tried the map and altho the bot crashed we got pretty deep into game, I'm on an iPhone so bare wit me on this review.
POSITIVES
•Unique income system/techtree
•Custom models and such are amazing
•Relativly noob friendly.
•Although terrain was taken from the first war it seems to feel "different" in this map.
NEGATIVES
•Only 1 hero per player.
•Techtree is a little short and easy to complete(still unique tho).
•Masteries are a little.. boring and uncreative.
KNOWN BUGS
•Stonewind tower can attack bandits to that place to the right.
•No idea how but somhow 3 horde warlocks got to the mastery circles and were atking them(shud makem invulnerable as well as fixing this bug).
Overall I give the map a 3.5-4/5, it gets a lil boring late game(needs more events) but it's still worth playing.

I kept 1 hero for each player due the fact you have to work together as a team with heroes. I designed this map about melee and units. So I dont like the idea of heroes beeing the main part in this map.
Yeah I am aware of the techtree, i am gonna add more techs soon.
Never intented to be creative with the masteries altough I will be giving additional boosts and features with the masteries improving the skills. For example if a human player picks defensive mastery, parry will be upgraded to lvl 2.
Thx for pointing out the bugs they are fixed now.
And yeah the map gets boring endgame I will be adding aditional features to the map as trading, caravans etc to keep the game fresh.
Version 1.04 will add more events for orcs and humans.
Thanks for trying out the map and giving feedback + credits.
