Warhammer Winds of Magic 2

Everything is redone since the 2005 version.

- Two teams, Hordes of Darkness VS the Grand Alliance
- Goal is to destroy the opposite team (all main buildings down you win)
- Each race have 3 main buildings
- Each race have 2 heroes (can be revived at main building)
- Each race starts with 10 towers (can max have 20)
- You spawn units every 100 seconds (tier 5 units spawn at 250sec)
- Build castle(s) to gain better spawns
- Buy worker and hero items at castle
- Hero max level is 9 (5 abilities + 1 passive)
- You can change camera zoom level
- This game is coolest with 12 players (if open-slot/leavers/drops full unit control is shared)

Warhammer Winds of Magic v. 2.00 !

I started on this project in April 2004!
Last version was created in february 05 :)

UPDATES!

- Added Dogs of War
- Fixed bugs
- Edited on the terrain
- Mutch more balanced
- Created "effects" on some units, example Chaos Warriors and Skaven clan rats has swords
- Added new units and removed old ones
- New items
- New skins and models
- Reduces a little on the size
- More creeps
- Alots of joy :D

Now I finally found your latest edition.
You really should just update the map instead of publishing new maps, that really are updates.
EDIT:
OK, just playtested it, found out it was not an update of warhammer wars.
My mistake.

I've posted a lot of suggestions to your map at the Gold edition, please respond.

I would like to help you polishing your map, because it's good already, a great idea, I need something to map, and I don't want to start on yet another map I will never finish anyway...
I got pleanty of mapping experience, especially units and triggers.

Now if someone is ever going to edit this or creator is going to release a new version. Here's a list of things that must be changed:

-Add 100-300 more hp to all unitses
-Weaken all heroes!! For god's sake it's suppoused to be a strategy-base map not some fucking heroes pawn armies and everything
-Change Max hero level to 10 or 15 and decrease hero experience gaining
-Change the cost of towers from 600 to ex. 1800 so no one can mass tower
-Make all unitses like they really are. Not like some bloody rats are stronger then chaos warriors
-Balance also spawns. Almost everyone from goodies spawns better then badies. Chaos should spawn more and faster then others
-Increase tower hitpoints also
-even if you make it more realistic keep it still balanced
-Add events like in Battle Cry. They make the game better

Sorry for double posting, but theres gone a while since i last commented on this, and dosent look like anyone ever look at this map.

Anyway, ive played this a lot and found that its very imbalanced, i think ive played 10 times or something, and everytime (except for one) the good side won.
The units are way too weak, and just fall to the ground like nothing. And why does both high elven and dark elven archers have more life than high elven and darl elven swordsmen? (weird!)

The heroes are also too weak. So i think you should either increase their stats (hp, dmg, armor, str, agi, int etc.) or make them able to revieve. Thats your choice. Also think on adding some more info to their abilities, such as how much do they heal, give bonus str, speed, dmg etc.

Overall a good game, but it could need some improvements... First i rated 5/5 cus it was mega fun. But as i look on it now, with all bugs and so, i would only rate it 3/5. But cus its still GREAT fun! i give 4/5 :D

Well there goes all my redos of this map *whistles* nah I kid I actually made my own Warhammer map myself. Although not as great as yours and needs a lag fix but hey I put effort in mine :p

I'm surprised you're still alive Vader :p

I just love warhammer and I'm glad this got a 2.0 especially when the last time I remember playing this... there was this huge unbalance with Lizardmen for some reason.

EDIT: Played a quick single-player just to see the difference and well I saw two problems. First you called it in your map Warhammer Winds of Magic 5.5... which confuses people.

2nd how tight it is between players (just like last version haha) I mean you cannot send aid to Dwarves (if you're empire) unless you get attacked by the Orcs and Vampire Count towers. Try to stretch just a bit, I know the Warhammer Lore in the Vampire Counts is that they live like literally south of the Empire it's just not fair gameplay wise cause it's pretty much ranking up kills (if they don't get healed anyway.)
