Warcraft III Name Generator v3.0

Submitted by D.O.G.
This bundle is marked as approved. It works and satisfies the submission rules.
It's always somewhat difficult to come up with character names while modding in Wc3.
So this will help you!

This program generates random Warcraft III names (male and female).
Also can generate totally random words, which can be used as anything you imagine (cities, islands, countries, cities, artifacts, etc).

How to use:
  • Press M to generate male name
  • Press F to generate female name
  • Press R to generate random word
  • Press C to clear screen
  • Press W to write generated names to file
  • Also last generated name will be copied to clipboard.

Program generates more than a hundred million unique names.
Just keep generating names until one that sounds good comes up.

This program is version of Magtheridon96's program but rewritten in Java - it runs on any OS.
I have his permission if someone cared.

CHANGELOG
Version 3.0
- Rewritten in Java to run on any OS

That is more complicated to use, it takes a lot of tme to find proper category.

This tool is much faster and works offline.

Yes, but this tool uses different algorithm to generate names, so they are all unique.

This is an awesome tool; but some use I typed M and F multiple times and patterns emerged, such as: <First name> Bloodstone, then the next few times this is shown: <First Name> Bloodstone... why??

That's because the last names are the only thing that are generated with a bad algorithm. The first names are almost completely random while the last names are generated by combining two words to get that Warcraft-ish feel to it :p

Many thanks for having it in Java! I will be using this on my desktop while I am in need of a proper name for role-playing. (I run Ubuntu on my desktop)
