Oh, hi.

I'm working on this again, after an intense hiatus of working on my education and my family farm to earn enough money to keep this going.

Love you all. thanks for sticking with us.

:3

TWIF is back! ;D

Hey there folks, I'm not sure if you're actually including the undead reace within this mod, but I recently started working on remaking the undead race for SC2.

If you'd like I could lend you my stuff once done.

How wonderful! we are planning to add undead later in the game so it will definitely be of use! thanks man ;D

That's great! Even though Lich King's and Sylvanas forces are quite different now than their wc3's versions, there's still a lot that can be used up. If anything the modeler just do the spare models that Traggey did not complete. (Return the favor=credits, propably enough to enter the team and recieve the Project of the Year prize, and lots, LOTS of rep. Aight, Grey Nightmare? HAHAHAHAHHA)

No more like something along the lines of;

"Hey our art team just finished a model you might find useful, here yah go Traggey"

Anyway were pulling ourselves together although I think we've lost most of the albeit tiny fanbase we once had, not that I'm surprised we've been far from 'promising'.

But hopefully we'll be able to make amends soon enough, the guys are indescribably adamant about the prospects for production over this coming summer and TWIF seems to have returned..?

What could possibly go wrong? =(

@TWIF

I know what you mean, I'm also on a project, but mine aint going nowhere if I don't get a better PC that the crappy one I have ATM. (Pentium 4 with a 128 MO video card)

I bought a Geforce gtx 560 that should arrive in 3 days with a huge Intel I5.
Around 1400$

And as I'm ''supposed'' to start working in early july, I'll have a whole month for it :D

*but if we spent full days on this, we'd be done already. heh*

Does that mean that a big part of the game is done? like 75% ? :ogre_haosis:

I was wondering, how is your mod, in MO? 2 MO - 3 MO?
The Models of WoW units take a lots of place on the hard drive.
I'm using lots of pictures for my map, one of them have 1 MO of size. ..:goblin_boom:

That's not entirely true, Taylor, hey. I've been trying to contact you actually... Both by email and vm here on the Hive.

We had a few absences but were ready to get back on track, Walle has made some model progression and Jaret some concept art. The Orc data tier 2 is nearing 'raw template' completion and TWIF is redesigning some key aspects. We plan to really kick up production a notch this summer.

Reaper51 has also rejoined the team as another Data editor and another concept artist by the name of Kristofer has joined and will hopefully take up some concept or texture duties. It's not great, but were far from beaten.
Are you still all in T?

Right, well I've lost contact with TWIF again.
The inconsistency is proving annoying and problematic.
I have no intentions of displacing him as a leader but after talking to the team present on Skype it looks like were going to have work without his input for a while. We just can't keep putting this off.

It's a fact, you could do the job Grey.
Anyways, what does leader status change?
Your working as a team aren't you?

Haven't lost contact with nobody - I still check my emails 3 times a day. (Breakfast, lunch and anywhere between dinner and 12 am, FYI).

I still just don't have the time i want to be on each day is all. I can probably manage being on for an hour or two every 2-3 days if i am lucky and nothing stupid happens. (Such as hailstorms, illustrated by yesterday.)

But reguardless of my inability to get online often, i have kept up my little notebook of things to work on (Which i am, luckily). And have been doing extensive conceptual balancing.

Now, somthing that is pretty important atm is to set up a meeting where we all can be online and have a serious (and productive) session to discuss what we are at, and what we can be doing at length.

As some of you know; (I sent grey an email with the hopes he would let you all know.) my skype won't function with my tethering app in place, as i get a Java socket error and my connection crashes. (Still have no idea why.) So meetings should happen on a chat or im client like msn. (which for some reason doesn't crash PdaNet).

Sorry for my life being unable to organize itself into a clean timetable so i can be on at all times of the day. For the time being, (optimally, the next 2 weeks) i will be most easily available via email. and will respond as soon as i can get to a computer.

Sorry for all the crap. ;)

but hey: summer is here and this is the time when all i have is one part time job.

Thanks Taylor, they are indeed two very good points to keep in mind!

I've finished my exams now, I've still got College lessons for four weeks (head start on year 2 material) but after that apart from part-time work, typical life and a few other projects, I should be fairly free to work on the mod. :)

Something's coming guys... I hope your ready, I'm not sure if I am.

Some extraordinary news for us !

Today, minding my own business, I ran in to a book shop, it had the newest edition of the PC Gameplay monthly magazine of July - August 2011. PX Gameplay

Guess what I found on page 23, just after the intro of Heart of the Swarm amongst the SC 2 MOD !!!

YES indeed we are in that magazine, more likely, MY models are in there

I feel so happy today....

Oh. Well, it looked like Germanic to me, but hey, what do I know about those? Either way, apologize me, I know how irritating it is at times when they mislead your language for a similar, yet VERY different in some degrees. (AKA people trying to communicate to brazilians using spanish. It's so fail that I ROFL every single time they try :D)
