The base is finished some wip's :

no texture, after some tweeking I consider the base mesh model to be finished

Normal map has been applied:

Texture is applied, only used 3-4 base colors, interesting is that it can be changed to a red fell orc easely

But it still has something extra when texture, specular and normal maps are applied

2 days of work ( read evenings only )

It's flash/action script based rather than HTML/CSS and it's all done through an intentionally limited 'editor' setup rather than self coding.

EDIT: Very nice member page Turminator , very nice indeed. However don't put me as the 'Website Director' it all falls under community/human relation crap, same with moddb/email management and CCP thread etc.

sry, this wont be used cuz Twif wanted something similar to Wc3 Nether drake, but only with outlines and a few things changed, so the twisting tail, the roundish thing in middle, is not like the one of wc3. so finaly, i talked with him and there is no need of a concept cuz all he want is the wc3 model but only with outlines, so im a bit angry cuz all i did is not used cuz all the informations i have are not enough clear so i spend time making things that are useless so thats it.

im bored and well, im out of the team. (just decided it now) and well thats it. maybe if u need me to make some icons later, ask me.

Kola, i thought we talked about this...

We acually ARE in need of cocept art, not only does it help our artis, but we can use it in updates and ect. We really do need you, and i love the art. (everything you've given us i awesome) so if you want to do some more images of the drake (i can find any good imgs on the internet) and i like the tail.

I'm sorry if i've been a bit disorganized and frustrating... going through some irl stuff and i hope to be back and organized soon. we would REALLY like to have you back on the team. you've made major contributions. and i would realy like to se more of your art. the drake WILL BE USED, and all of your other stuff is appreciated to.

Yup concept art is well concept art, Not everything might be used in the actual project but everything can be used as reference or visual cues for ideas that could help with the final design..So the more the better, but eventually we still have to trim them down.
I need someone to confirm this, I remember having read something about multiple model variations for a single unit?anyone?
FOR TWIF> I believe we should redesign every unit, not a total makeover but an improved version. Think WC3 models, then WOW models..Since the new editor allows us to do so we should push the limits when it comes to visual graphics..We don't want our units to look like imported models from WC3,do we?

kola please stay on the team. your art is great and you will be sorely missed. The mod is at concept stages. We've been friends since we both joined this site you commenting my systems and spells, while i commented on your icons so stay please.

Everything can be changed its always best to have 2-3 versions of a unit so it can be changed later. Same thing with systems, models, spells, and lore. So don't feel down Ive had to change one system 2-3 times already because the brainstormers changed their mind.

I prefer the tail that kola put on the dragon i think we should include it

I Solidly agree with the team, and i again, apologise for being disorganized.

@pang. We are heavily taking that into account, and once the game is released, i think we will be taking a closer look at units. you will DEFINETLY be seeing that on the humans and their steampunk design. and we obviously do want you guys to just concept away. the essentially untouched races are outland an orcs.

Yeah I got the links, I'll review them when I get a chance - first WiP of the second thing TWIF wanted, tried to make something a bit more orchestral this time, a bit more melodic.

I'm not sure I'm satisfied with that flute thing in there, also around 40 seconds I accidentally hit the keyboard and that got caught in there even though it's not supposed to be, it'll be gone the next time I put up a another wip.

I'm also thinking I should put an emphasis on beat 1 when the strings come in at the part before it cuts off to give that more of an accent.

As for the forum, sorry I know you've all registered for the other one, but we had several problems as many of you are aware and due to some extremely welcome help from Aaron79 we now have a VBulletin forum and on Friday (thanks to TWIF) a proper domain name will be attached .

So this is 'the forum' where we want everything documented, it's getting way to cluttered and disorganised in this thread...

EDIT: I would suggest using the theme: Blue Fusion atm, until we can find something a little more suitable, the default one is just plain white and blue though, if you prefer that (change style in bottom left corner).

No you never sent it and that was a community update anyway, I'm doing seperate articles all this week (modelling/concept w/e) although atm I am extremely pissed at the moddb management, it's awful.

Our latest news wasn't good enough for the home page HOWEVER this was.

Sorry guys bad news, my hard drive got screwed up..I lost some of my files including some personal stuff (godammit!) and the other concept art I made this week..I'm frustrated right now, all work done just gone like that..Anyways here's what's left of it>
This is the basic concept for the nodes actually..I imagine them like floating rock platforms, and at the middle a pool of lava can be found. On one of the files that got lost,I have the lava overflowing the top part passing through the cracks of the rocks and dripping beneath it..Inside the lava is a demonic hand, for a defense node my idea was that it shoots flames..Chains, skull and pointed rock spires were present on the other node designs that I have, I'll just redo those later..

the defensive nodes have one that is AG only and fires a stream of magma, but guys big knews

AG = anti ground, but it doesent matter, keep doing noe concepts, we are keeping them in demons

we have a list, but we are redoing them. there are going to be abut 15-18 and about 5 different defensive (turret nodes) and 2 armor nodes... but we will get back to you.
