War3 Model Editor - Slow performance

Can't stop dealing with War3 ME problems
I couldn't open it (fixed now), now its performance is extremely slow; it casts 20 seconds to proceed with the command I gave to it, e.g. press any button or move from the program to the background and back forth. Uh, anyone knows what's wrong? 20 seconds per action is way too boring.

What OS are you using?
Graphics Card?
RAM?

Try running the program in Windows XP compatibility mode (if your not using XP).

Run it as administrator if you are using Vista/7.

Download the latest version.

I tried reinstalling it, it still lags a lot.
I am on Windows Vista, NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS with a 3 GB ram.

Hm, similar to what I had when I was running vista.

Try disabling visual themes/desktop composition - sometimes 3D programs really don't like that.

How am I supposed to do that? Honestly, even if you had mutual issue, I doubt I can deal with it. It's like the problem itself is heavy :/
Anyway, describe what I should do, please.

right-click > properties > compatibility tab

Sorry for the late reply, but still, the performance doesn't change. It's slow till death ;/
