War3 Model Editor not working properly

Greetings,

I have encountered a problem when viewing some models in the Model Editor and Mldvis.

They lack any textures

But when placed in game

They work fine.

If anyone has a solution do not hesitate to tell me.

Note: This only happens with some models, apparently the only ones that can't be had with other sources.

It seems Magos forgot where the mpqs are at.
Run the program in administrator mode and let it register all needed extensions and it should fix itself.

It appears it doesn't work, I tried it on Mldvis as well.



Is there a way to manually set it up?

Check in regedit if all paths are correct. Like InstallPath, GamePath, etc.

This doesn't really help me with much, as you know the new Warcraft 3 is merged together with ROC and TFT. Also I don't have it installed in C.

The executable are irrelevant, you need the path to point to where your MPQs are.

It was just example, you need to put your path of warcraft in there

Thank you very much for your support, but I have found that simply copy and pasting the MPQ files in to the folders where the Model Editors are kept fixes the situation.

I appreciate it.
